The automotive variation of this war recommended to me by [redacted commercial link]. He uses this in all the cars he works on, and I've since used it in mine. Very interestsing science behind this line of products.
I was intriqued to find out they made a formula specifically for rifled...
Hey, at an outdoor range (plinking pit, not stalls) is it rude to shower the person to your right with your brass without even acknowledging?
I at least TRY to prevent by setting up a case (to my right) to deflect if somebody is within 8 feet or so. But on my last outing, I was getting...
Kel-Tec finally added the SU-16 AR pistol grip adapter to their web store. I'm considering picking one up.
For those of you who have them already, how have you liked them? High or low mount? Solid? Thanks in advance.

Ranges are full, ammo is being bought up, reloading supplies are in high demand, and gun sales are off the charts. So I'm curious. If you are participating in this, (or were well prepared beforehand), what is your primary motivation?
I was just at my local Cabela's and there were zero Mini-14's or AR-15's in stock. Same for Bud's Gun Shop (www.budsgunshop.com). No black rifles. No rifle that holds over 10 rounds in .223/5.56. VERY few semi-auto's. A couple M1A's.
Seems the same all over the net. You'd think a ban...

I'm not looking for THE ONE, but rather to shorten the shopping list down to a few solid suggestions. Then I'll have her go shoot them...
A friend mentioned he'd been to more than a handful of shows where inappropriate discharges occurred INSIDE the show. This even when everybody is supposed to be unloaded in the show. Any similar experiences?
The topic of brick and mortar vs internet came up in another off topic thread. I made my first couple of purchases via brick and mortar, but switched to online once I saw the price differential. What do the rest of you usually do?
Illinois is goofy and maintains 2 separate definitions for a gun "case." The state law says it's any container that fully encloses the firearm by snap, zipper, etc. But the widlife code stipulates that the case be made "specifically for firearms."
My question to any of you LEO's out there...
Please post a reply if you live in "the other Illinois" as somebody from Sparta (World Shooting Complex) said earlier this week. I've only seen a handful in earlier threads, so speak up!
(and yeah, this could lead to an Illinois focused thread in Activism later!)
Thanks,
Brian
I'm thinking of buying another shotgun. I already have an old 16 ga autoloader. Thought of going toward a 12 ga with a shorter barrel. The thought is for home defense, etc. dealer told me you can't hunt well without a longer barrel. You thoughts?
