    Cast bullets in .300 blackout

I bought a Lee mold for 230 gr 30 cal. But have yet to cast any bullets. I am interested to see how well they shoot. On the .308 bullets for plinking I would look for some FMJ bullets that have been pulled. They are pretty cheap when you can find them.

    Need help on 6.5x284 & 6XC brass

I have about 300 pieces of Lapua 6.5x284 and about 100 pieces of Norma 6XC once fired brass that I do not load for. I see that the brass sells for well over $1 per piece new. Can anyone help me with what fair market value for this brass is? thanks in advance.

    Sub 300 BLK recs

I have loaded several hundred of the Hornady 208 gr BTHP match with 9.7 grs 296. These have been used in a single shot suppressed rifle. The rounds were sub-sonic and shot well. I cannot comment on how well they will perform in an AR.

We got primers in El Paso Texas @Academy.

Academy in Ft. Smith Arkansas was stocking their shelves yesterday with primers at the same price. Pretty good profit margin for them. It seemed to me all their prices were higher than I remember.

Your experiences with Longshot powder in pistols

I have used Longshot with great success in 9MM, 38 Super, 40 S&W, 45 acp. It is really nice to have one powder that works so well in so many calibers. I used to use Unique for these but greatly prefer LS.

    bullet prices

Unless you shoot a lot and have access to cheap or free lead, it is very difficult to justify investing into bullet molds, casting pots, luber / sizers, etc. I have all the stuff, but have found my time is more valuable. So until they try to cut off my access to bullets, I will continue to buy...

    LRM Primers in 270

I use magnum primers in my 270 with 4350 and the Nosler 130 gr BT. I am using near maximum recommended load and not seeing any pressure issues. Accuracy is great. Start conservatively and work your way up.

I have not seen any problems with once-fired 10mm brass other than it is harder to find.

Cleaned up the bullet pile and found 4000 9mm JHP's

Not everything about getting old is bad! I found $200 stuck in a shoe in my closet and have no memory of puting it there. How many of you all have found $200 lately?

What is a good price for once-fired 5.56 brass?

I remember when you could buy 223 brass for $10 per thousand, but those times are gone. If a person wants more for an item than you are willing to pay, don't buy it. Have you all seen the price of Colt Pythons lately? If you had one, are you going to sell it for $100 more than you paid for it...

    Reloading 38/357 shotshells

When I was a little younger we used to do some aerial shooting with pistols. I sure upped my "kill" rate on beer bottles with shot capsules. My buddies still don't know!
