New Gun Company Advertisement Compares Obama to Hitler, Stalin

Don't be so fast to blame "liberals" for gun control. Conservatives love it too when it suits their purposes. http://reformed-theology.org/html/issue11/dont_blame_liberals.htm "In 1969, journalist William Safire asked Richard Nixon what he thought about gun control. "Guns are an...

Have you ever had an ND?

I've been carrying daily for about 10 years and I've never had a ND. It's my personal goal to go to my grave without ever having one. If I can do that and have my 4 year old daughter grow into a happy, healthy adult, I'll die a happy man.

    Fiocchi 9mm Ammo Question

Actually, I've noticed that most SD HP ammo from major manufacturers, eg. Federal, CorBon, etc, tends to have minimal muzzle flash. I use Federal's BPLE +P+ load a bit and it also has minimal muzzle flash.

    Fiocchi 9mm Ammo Question

Hi, all. Has anyone used Fiocchi 9mm hollow point ammo? The price seems right, but one thing I've noticed about ammo that is less expensive is it tends to have a LOT of muzzle flash. Not a good thing in low light situations. Kind of like the Magtech SCHP I've used in my CW9. I was looking...

    Magsafe ammo safe to shoot?

Over the past 4 years, I've fired well over 100 rounds of Magsafe through my CW9. (obviously, not all at once due to the price). I've fired the Defender, Mini-Glock and +P Stealths and have never had a problem with any of it.

    Glock G30/G29 concealment holster suggestions?

I bought my IWB holster for my G29 from this guy: http://www.ttgunleather.com/ It's the most comfortable holster for my 29 I've ever worn. Highly recommended!

Best/Cheapest Place to Buy Ammo Online?

Ammo to go is good in that they get new inventory in all the time, sometimes usually hard-to-find stuff like Winchester Ranger, Federal HST and the old Federal 115 gr. +P+ loads.

Best/Cheapest Place to Buy Ammo Online?

+1 The Sportsman's Guide is great. Join their buyer's club, and buy in bulk. They send me $10 off coupons all the time for orders of $100. That pays for most of the shipping, plus you get an added discount for being a club member. I also order most of my clothes from them, too. Believe me...

    9mm defensive loads

That depends on who you ask! Chuck Taylor wrote an article in "Combat Handguns" recently on 9mm ammo for short barrel autos. He unequivocally rules out 147 gr. loads because, according to him, they shoot high and don't have enough velocity from a 3.5 inch ( or shorter) barrel to expand...

    9mm defensive loads

You should read their follow-up, "Street Stoppers." Very interesting. They speak highly of frangible ammo, like Magsafe and Glaser Safety Slugs, for the smaller calibers, i..e .380, .38 sp. and 9mm. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I carry Magsafes sometimes in my CW9, but a lot of...

    9mm defensive loads

This is interesting: http://www.brassfetcher.com/index_files/Page2449.htm This 147 gr. Golden Saber was fired from a Rohrbaugh, yet it expanded pretty well from such a short barrel.

    9mm defensive loads

I do love my CW9. I got it about 2 years ago. It's my daily carry piece, and I figure I've put about 1500 rounds through it so far with all types of bullets. The Cor Bon 115 gr. JHPs are the only thing it tends to choke on. Even then, it will still feed them 90% of the time. However, that's...

    9mm defensive loads

I carry a Kahr CW9. The only rounds it seems to choke on are the Cor Bon JHPs. Cor Bon uses Sierra bullets for their traditional HPs, and my Kahr doesn't seem to like the wide mouths. Other than that, it'll feed anything. I carry PMC 124 gr. Starfire. Those feed flawlessly, as do Gold Dots...

    PMC Starfire Ammo

Starfire was good stuff when Eldorado made it in the US. Now PMC is making it in Korea. Does anyone still use it? Opinions? I carry it still, but don't have the resources to test it.

    Glock 20 v. Glock 29 Ballistics

Are you sure? I've handled both, and I did notice a difference. I could just get the tip of my index finger on the trigger of the G20. The G29 is chunky, but my trigger finger reaches the trigger just fine. I think the issue is that the G29 grip is shorter than the G20. Therefore, the "hump"...

    Glock 20 v. Glock 29 Ballistics

Hi, everyone. I have a question for you ballistics officionados... The G29 barrel is about an inch shorter than the G20. When using full power 10mm loads like Double Tap, does the shorter barrel affect bullet performance to any significant degree--i.e. muzzle energy and velocity? I...

    Glock 29--Who Else Has One?

I was just curious.... I've owned a G29 for about two years now. Aside from the cost of feeding it, I love it. I was originally going to get a G20, but the grip is a tad too big for my hands. Anyone else have a G29? Opinions? Thanks!
