Many agree that amsec/strudy are equal

Here is the link to the private video for you guys to see how 10 gauge will perform against a fire axe. We had a 10 gauge steel sheet that was set up too close to the welding table. Our axe went through the ten gauge and hit the one inch plate, causing the handle to break. We did get a decent...

Sturdy vs. AmSec - Finally Decided

Sensitive to what? Attacks or minor abuse? If you ask this question to any sheriffs departments and such, they will tell you they can't have a safe that cannot take minor abuse. We feel no one likes being told they need to baby a safe by not slamming the door, etc... I need to stop you now...

Sturdy vs. AmSec - Finally Decided

We can manufacture and install parts in any safe, legally, because many safes you can't buy parts for. In order to fix some of these safes, you would need to have access to equipment like: mills, laths, shears, press breaks, etc. It's not the manufacturers who come to us for repairs, it's the...

Sturdy vs. AmSec - Finally Decided

"misuse, or abuse" to us, means we will not repair damage due to one accidentally dropping it out of a pickup, using it like a wrecking ball, etc... however, Terry has been known to fix this type of stuff for free anyway. We are very lenient. Your more than welcome to abuse our safes such as: •...

    Strong safe---where

No offense, but we would choose to hire actual mechanical engineers. Furthermore, we have been a repair station for all brands of safes for the past 30 years, and that’s about the time you were born Frank. Are you, or are you not, stating to our customers reading this thread, that they should...

    Strong safe---where

Adirondack makes more logical sense, and he has no alternate motive to say the things he is saying. However, Frank (a1abdj) is not just educating here, he’s trying to sell a Chinese safe to a good American patriot on this thread. Therefore, Frank has an alternative motive to say the things he...

    Strong safe---where

How long exactly do you think it would take you to pry open our safe? Forever? A year? Given enough time, I'm sure you can file a hole in the body with a metal file, but do you see how ridiculous that is? In addition, how would you go about getting the pry bar started? Because you can not get a...

    Strong safe---where

It’s the time an effort that changes with these types of thicknesses, considering the burglar would have the right tools and right amount of blades that can handle it. The problem for burglars with circular saw attacks and torch attacks is that they will either generate very loud noises...

AMSEC BF vs. Sturdy safe question

Ok, just making sure your not saying amsec's UL Fire Rated safes are made the same as their non UL Fire Rated gun safes. Thanks for your feedback on all this Frank, you’re the best. I looked into it. At one point in time, when the Honeywell name brand safes existed, they made their 2754DB with...

AMSEC BF vs. Sturdy safe question

I can’t respond to everything I want to, so please contact us if you have any questions. Ca is full of liberals, who will not let the arson investigators burn like they did when we tested potential fire insulators. They now do them few and far in between, with a lot more restrictions. We are...

AMSEC BF vs. Sturdy safe question

Hi Alyssa here. We feel this is very incorrect, and any engineer who uses these materials would tell you the same. A good king has many advisers so ya'll better not be afraid to call people who would really know like engineers, or even the ceramic wool and high temp glass manufacturers to see...

    Gun Safes - Any secrets

Welcome SafeGuy! Your the same salesmen who was slandering us on the hull truth forums as FREEEBIRD (screen name). http://www.thehulltruth.com/dockside-chat/223244-new-gun-safe-choices.html Aside from the fact that our safes linkage will NEVER have problems, and NEVER had problems in our...

AMSEC BF vs. Sturdy safe question

I see how you feel, we just feel differently, and it's ok to agree, to disagree. Your still a good man in my book. Now, in response to what was said: I see. Only Sturdy Safes, with fire liners , will have a 14 gauge inside steel liner. Looks like you guys were talking about our safe fire...

AMSEC BF vs. Sturdy safe question

Hello again a1abdj buddy! Alyssa here. This is the third thread someone needed to remind you about our 14 gauge inside steel liner. :) Thats ok thou! How have you been? I'm sorry, but if you call AmSec direct at 1-800-421-6142 a woman named Donna (or something real close) will tell you the...

Need Advice on a "Safe": Amsec v. Sturdy v. Other?

This is a common mistake to think of when it comes to amsec safes fire protection. * Not A Solid Material DryLight or other cement compounds are not really like cement. It's a plaster-pars type of substance and although it adds a lot of weight, it's not sturdy. It's capable of breaking...

    Advice for a gun safe?

I wouldn't say every fire safe on the market my friend. Our insulator is normally used for insulating high temperature ovens and kilms.--dont know how to spell that. Kilm? oh well. We tested it in actual burn downs...no labs. Proof is in the pudding. Take care.

    Advice for a gun safe?

Its totally possible to get security and fire resistance in a safe that can hold guns, plus a lot of shelving space for other objects. You would save more by buying one safe as apposed to two.

    Amsec vs. ?? RSC's Question

Your right. It wouldn't. The cement they use is a mixture that isn't very solid. It doesn't add to the security of the safe what so ever.
