    Questions about the Beretta 90-Two

Maybe a brief pause between 90 and Two, or perhaps a change in intonation? LOL. Not the smartest move on Beretta's part, in my opinion.

    Questions about the Beretta 90-Two

Anyone have any experience with the "new" Beretta? It looks rather interesting, but I haven't heard much about it apart from the company website.

    Using +P Ammo in a 1911

I think you could go ahead and use +P without any problems in a 1911, but if you are still worried, why not install a recoil buffer in it just to make sure?

    H&K Stainless vs Black finish

I'd have to go with black, as it looks better and is likely to be less noticeable if a portion of the gun gets exposed unintentionally.

Just saw a show about shotguns on the history channel.

You sure about that penetration, Doc? I'd imagine a .308 or 30-06 would outpenetrate a 12 gauge slug. At close range I'm sure the slug would do more damage, but I don't think it could penetrate barriers better than a high powered rifle. I could be wrong, but it just seems unlikely.

    Autos you will never sell.

I would never sell my H&K USP 45. Being the first handgun I ever bought, it has too much sentimental value to part with. I also have two others I would never part with, though they're not autoloading handguns. One is my Colt Officer's Model .38 Special(which has a bit of rust and wear...

I thought this would be fun!

I think you did a nice job, especially if you only used Microsoft Paint. I actually kind of like it, and think it's funny considering the two companies' past. P.S. - Great thread idea, by the way!:D

Just saw a show about shotguns on the history channel.

I saw it today, though I've seen it a few times before then. Quite interesting, in my opinion. Seeing it surprised me, as the History Channel's line up has been polluted with crap like "Ice Road Truckers" and "The Boneyard" lately. I wish they aired more of their "Tales of the Gun" series, but...

    UK gun laws

Nomad101bc,(and anyone else who was wondering) there aren't capacity laws in Arkansas, I just complain they exist at all. After all, "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere".

FNP 40 DA/SA anyone own one yet?

I might be wrong, but I believe the Browning version has a safety, while the FN only has a decocker. That's the way my FNP 9 is. The trigger is wonderful, by the way. :D Extremely smooth, breaks quite cleanly, and is light as well. No malfunctions of any kind so far, but I only have about 200...

Sig P220R vs HK USP 45

Though I've never handled the SIG, I can say I love my USP 45. It has never jammed on me, and is quite a bit more accurate than I am. (Due in part to the fact I can only get out to the range a litttle less than once a month:banghead::cuss:.) Personally, I like it's "weird" magazine release, and...

    UK gun laws

Always in the back of my mind while I complain about magazine capacity restrictions, minimum barrel lengths, and such is how "lucky" those of us in the U.S. are compared to those in the U.K. (and many other countries) I put lucky in quotation marks because I believe that we are lucky in the...

    TRP 1911 or S&W 627?

I'd get the 627, but that's because I don't like the TRP's grip. The checkering on it felt extremely unpleasant to me. To be completely honest, it was the most uncomfortable gun I've ever held. But, you might not mind it so much. Just hold one and find out.

    Bloody Confused...

I already have an AK, albeit a cheap clone. I picked up a WASR 10 for about $350 at a local gun show earlier in this year.

    Bloody Confused...

Thanks for the input everybody. My minds a little closer to being made up. The Kimber and Hi Power are in a dead heat right now. I guess it's just up to whatever I can get the best deal on of the two now. (That's without factoring in the cost of the work I'll have to do on the Hi Power) Oh, and...

If you lived in the year 1920...

Probably a whippet gun(though Clyde Barrow was only what, ten years old, in 1920.) and a 1911 concealed under a nice duster.

    Bloody Confused...

But it's a good confused, if that makes any sense. See, my birthday's coming up, and I'm having trouble deciding what I should buy myself. So far I'm stuck between choosing the following: Kimber Custom II - .45 ACP (Of course) Why: Why not get a 1911, especially considering I've never had...

    Looking for a new CCW

You've probably heard this everytime you've ever asked about which gun to purchase, but which one feels best in your hand? If it were me, I'd go with the S&W for economics, ergonomics, and power. I'm not trying to start a debate over .357 SIG versus .45 ACP, I'm just saying that the M&P is the...
