I fell in love at the gun show today ..

They are picky with ammo but when you use the right stuff (CCI Stingers) they function flawlessly and are a lot of fun.

NavyLt, I have a 10/22T in the same Fajen stock with a BSA scope that looks identical, it's a shooter too.

    Walther or Smith PPK question

I carry the Walther PPK whenever possible mainly because of the size and ease of carry. It is a bit heavy for it's size, but I've never had any problem with that, I actually prefer a little more weight than many polymer framed pistols. Usually, this time of year, the weapon sits in my jacket...

    Shipping gun parts

I agree. We, the wife and I flew to down south to pick up the piece that I had loaned out to a relative for undercover police work. He didn't have many guns and the smallest he had was a HK USP .40, not to good for undercover work. So I let him use my P32 for a few years, he finally quit the...

    Shipping gun parts

According to the BATFE site I can ship the complete firearm to myself (a non-licensee) in another state. Also according to definitions I've read before in BATF handbooks the parts need to be able to be assembled into a working firearm to be considered such.

    Shipping gun parts

Can parts, not capable of being assembled into a working firearm, be shipped via US mail to a NON-Licensee, from a NON-licensee? To be specific, I have a KelTec P-32 lower receiver and magazine I need to ship from another state to to my residence. The upper slide and barrel are already here...

Thinking about buying one of these

I'll second that, don't waste your money. I haev one int he basement that I play with from time to time, paid a lot less for it that the site has, but anyway. "minute-of-beercan" (that hilarious) is about the best you'll get.

    Derringer's

I have a High Standard .22 Mag that I carry, and feel fine with it. It's accurate out to 10-15 yards, and doesn't kick bad at all.

Best CQB weapon in the non-firearm category?

I would second the staff option, a good 4' staff can do terrible/good things:evil: I make a staff called a Jo So that is 4' long and has a unique shape to it that give a somewhat knife edge on one side, and a rounded adge on the other. The best way to show the shape is to put the tips of...

Personally I think most everything Surefire makes is good. I have 6 various Surefire lights and love them all. I just wish they could go a bit easier on the batteries!

Illegal immigrants should be allowed Carry Permits. Deal or No Deal?

To first address the bush statement, he's an idiot and a liar. He's proven that time and time again.:cuss: Now on to the CCW for illegals, I can't believe someone would even ask that question.:banghead:

I for one agree with neoncowboy, I think it's incredibly niave to think that whats posted on here cannot, or will not be used by those that have access to it.

    Listening In

I had same thing, except it didn't cost me money, just lots of trouble with the neighbors. What it turned out to be was two fold, one I used a cordless phone the neighbor in question monitors a scanner for entertainment and gossip purposes. The scond was the location of the cordless phone, it...

    what lights do you carry?

+1 for the Surefire E2e. At work I like the Innova X5 better, the softer light is good for looking thru sight glasses and such, and the batteries last forever compared to the Surefire. jojo
