Post pictures of your gun collection

I have one of those Savage 93-17s. Mine is the 93R17-GLV; the lefty one in a wood stock. Mine doesn't have the Accu-trigger. I was a bit bummed-out about that after I did a search for the gun to see if I paid too much for it at the Reno Hilton gunshow last week. I did, by about $50 over MSRP, but when I found a website devoted to Savage firearms, I saw thereon that a precision trigger is available for it for $80. A gunsmith has to put it in, but that's a small price to pay for a trigger that will go down to 10 ounces trip weight. Mine has the BSA Sweet 17 scope on it. It's very clear and sharp and has a bullet-drop turret on the top. You zero for 100 yards, then adjust the turret from 100 out to 300 and bang away. Mine is the 3-12X variety. I have yet to shoot this gun. I was going to do so today, but the snow started to flurry, it was sort of windy and the RSO was cold and wanted to go home. There will be time enough when it gets warmer. I have a friend who just loves the 17HMR caliber. He went shooting squirrels up at Cedarville, CA this past week and shot hundreds of them with his 17. He brought back 16 empty boxes of shells from the trip. Assuming 80% accuracy, he hit over 600 of the little fuzzballs. I couldn't go...

I put a RifleBasix trigger in mine, and it is adjustable from 10-26oz. It runs $80, and you can install it yourself, no smith needed. Took about 30 minutes to install it, and it was pretty easy. Just go slow, and follow the intructions. I bought mine off Ebay for $50, so you might want to watch their as well. Good luck

Oh yeah, while I'm at it I'll post a map to my house and a little diagram showing where the safe is.

heh.
I don't steal/rob from gun owners for the sake of my life.

Everyone, let's see you gun collection!!

Neoncowboy, skip the map to your house. I would be much more interested in the name of your shrink that hope you are seeing for that paranoia. :)

I for one agree with neoncowboy, I think it's incredibly niave to think that whats posted on here cannot, or will not be used by those that have access to it.

And I think it is terribly paranoid to think it will happen. What basic criminal is going to go to the trouble of hacking your account, hacking the mainframe of your internet provider, then hacking their records, then finding your address. Then still have to go through the trouble of breaking into your home? Plus, since all my accounts are registered to my business' PO box they would still have to do some more leg work after that. Then they would have to deal with a home that may has a security system, dogs, and neighbors on all sides (mine has all those). Or they could just go to a local gun shop and smash a window and run since most of them are either in mini-malls or outside city limits where there are few if any neighbors to report it. Seriously, when was the last time you saw a "real" report of something like this happening?

hahahahah...seriously, some of you gun nuts here fit the stereotype that gun owners are paranoid.

Hacking into someone's account and tracking down their home address (which is something that is incredibly hard to do), then breaking into their homes 1000-2000 miles away to steal their guns. :uhoh: :uhoh:

If you're that concerned that someone would key off of a picture of your guns and track you through the luminiferous ether to your gun room you should be just as concerned that they'd key off of your presence or post count and come looking to take your guns. The best thing would be not to post or sign up to any site that might make you vulnerable. Perhaps go through a proxy server or perhaps as far to only surf the "sensitive" sites from the public library?

All the pics I send belong to other people (I can not afford guns) so it would be hard to track them at all the different locations. I get to know someone ask if they have guns and whip out the camera. Then comes the cool part of trying to figure out how to post pictures on web sites. So at this point all I have is a bunch of pics , anybody need some !!!!
These belong to a address far far away from one of the three I live at
