Nice rifle, but curious about it being a "great" deal as Sig has the MSRP at $1499. I know finding them has been a challenge, but there are several dealer's with them in stock online with comparable prices. Regardless, very nice rifle and sure looks like it does it part. Enjoy it!!
Actually I did end up with a CZ75B and that's pretty much what led me to the Hi Power. Of note, I also picked up one of the Canik's (CZ clone) off of Bud's and it feelsshoots real good as well. Once again thanks for all the info!
Kevin
Good Sunday to ya' all. Picked up a Hi Power and no where on it does it indicate "Browning". It has Fabrique Nationale Herstal Belgique on it is all. My understanding is that this would be a FN made Hi Power (as they all are I believe) not imported to the US? The serial number is 245NTxxxx...
Hello, just picked up a 460 and loaded up some of the Barnes 200 gr XPB's using H110. I also picked up some Barnes 275gr XPB's and can't find much info on load data. Checked Hodgdon's web site and they don't list the 275 grainers.. Checked the Barnes site and they have load data using...
Hey there,
Kind of in a bind. I was hoping to replace a Parker Hale stock with a synthetic stock on my MDL 1200 .243. Can't find out what replacement stock would be most apt to work?? I've read that the Parker-Hale was modeled after the Mauser 98??? Good fit or no?? Thanks, Kevin
Hello....
Just getting into a more competitive nature where I'm wanting to be able to shoot the various guages at the skeet range. (Starting to get sh*t from fellow shooters for shooting my Ruger Red Label 12 guage while they shoot these 5-20 thousand dollar guns!!!haha) Looked around a bit...

Well, didn't get a whole lot of input; however, after doing a lot of research I did go with the LaRue LT-104 Mount. Just a little follow up for those that might have any interest. I also realized the picatinny rail question was pretty much stupid.. The handguards may be larger on the .308's...
Hello members.. Just purchased myself a years worth of grief from my wife!!! haha. Got the DPMS LRT-SASS (.308) and went all out with a Leupold Mark 4 6.5x20x50 piece of glass to go with it!!! Not bragging, I promise.. Anywhoo What the hell do I mount this on?? LaRue Tactical SPR-S QD Mount...
Hello all... Seems that my buckmark is always shy with the last round in the clip. Fires fine until the last round and then "no go". Tried 2 other magazines with the same problem.. Is this typical.. Have shot Federal, CCI, and Remington ammo all with the same outcome???
thanks bowhunter, just getting into these bulletin pages so the additional reference is a plus... I've got a couple of cases of the 3 1/2" Kent so that's probably what I'll go with... No BS about the amount of rounds shot..
As a relatively new waterfowler I was led to believe 3 1/2" was the way to go... Shot up a lot of 3 1/2" Steel last year goose hunting here in Wyoming and this year I've been invited up to Canada with this group.. I was encouraged to purchase a Pattern Master Choke at about $100 to put on my...
Nitesite.... Thanks, the fact that they are considered magnum primers was what I was looking for... As for the other... CCI 400's is what I believe to be the small rifle primers?? Thanks for the info... I did go ahead and just swagger 'em to be on the safe side and had no other bad primer...
Thanks flynlr.... I do note the extractor marks/dent on the cases... All gold primers in all 1000 cases... No other brands mixed in... Case lengths were all between 1.765" and 1.770", reckon all need to be trimmed down to 1.760? Is there a major difference between the #40's and #41's?? Just...
Thanks again Guys (and or gals).. After priming 100 of 'em I found that 4-5 had a hard time accepting the primer.... Stripped off an edge of the primer, or deep penetration from the hand primer... It seems that all the ammo have the ring crimping, and all have had gold primers; however, 95 of...
nitesite.. Seller was on E-Bay and stated that these were all once fired by a navy unit's qualification somewhere in S. Carolina... He's got really good feedback and has lots listed... thanks again for input
Appreciate the input... There does appear to be a ring crimp based on a pic in a separte thread; however, it doesn't seem to have a lip after depriming and running a pen from the inner to outer ring produced no obvious ridge. The Federal brass (once fired from Wally's world) also has the...
