I have a PX-4c in .40
It's a very accurate, relatively soft shooting, and easy to carry pistol.
Once you get the hang of lining up the cam with the block reassembly is no more difficult than guns with the tilting barrel design.
Mine is TDA and it has a great trigger.
I can't give you the exact comparison you are asking for but my PX-4 compact .40 seems to recoil about the same as my 9mm Sphinx SDP Compact Alpha.
I'm sure someone will chime in with exactly what you are looking for but my PX-4 is very mild and flat shooting for a 40.
My carry guns are a Shield 9mm, Sphinx SDP Compact 9mm, Beretta PX-4 .40, MP Compact .45, and a Ruger KLCR .357 Magnum.
They all seem to be fine carry guns to me.
I'm not really sure I added anything to this thread, sorry.
I just wanted to add that the machining and finish on my PX-4 is impeccable and worthy of a gun costing much more.
I am carrying my compact in a Don Hume JIT Slide that is made for the subcompact model while I wait for my horsehide Kramer belt scabbard to arrive.
I have the PX4 Compact in .40 S&W.
I've added the "D" spring, stealth decockers, and single sided slide stop, and it has become my primary carry. If you want a TDA carry gun this is about as good as it gets for less than $1200 or so. I like it better than my Sphinx SDP Compact Alpha.

USAF back in the Middle Ages.
S&W M15 with .38 Special FMJ, then we transitioned to...wait for it...
Beretta M9 loaded with FMJ.
At least we had that penetration thing going for us. :scrutiny:
You can laugh and call me a liar if you want but there are cases where .380 has failed to penetrate the breastbone of an adult male.
Between the two, .380 is not even a consideration for me.
The least capable gun I carry is a Ruger KLCR loaded with Corbon .357 DPX and it is a hideout/backup.
They are popular because they are very small, high quality, and relatively inexpensive and that is all the rage lately, especially with people who are new to CCW. I consider them to be a last resort for CCW as I prefer larger, easier to shoot well, higher capacity handguns unless clothing...
The front sight on a Glock is attached somewhat precariously by a tiny screw.
The taller suppressor sights are even more precarious as the added length adds to the leverage against that tiny screw.
The M&P (with an APEX trigger) is just a bit faster from 15-30 yards but it isn't as light (at about 6.5 lbs est.) as the Sphinx SA.
Actually I struggle a little at longer ranges with the sights on my Sphinx compared to the M&P. The extra light on either side of the front sight makes it a...
I carry AIWB.
I won't carry a striker fired gun that way unless it has a thumb safety. Hence, my M&P .45c
I prefer DA/SA for this method of carry because of that nagging doubt in the back of my mind that I might miss the safety in the heat of the moment.
The M&P is normally relegated to...
