Hello, I am not sure which one to purchase (or are they pretty much equal?)
I don't see any heavy duty modifications for me in the future. Just looking for a rifle to toss a scope on and spend some time shooting. The Stevens at my local shop is $319, and the Savage is $299.
Thoughts?
I don't post too much but I had to express my excitement for this product! Hope you guys get final manufacturing soon, and make sure to keep us updated.:D
Great story! That is the same gun I learned to shoot on my grandparents farm. My dad still has it, (it was grandpa's gun) I took it to the range a few times a couple years ago and it re-kindled my interest in shooting sports and here I am. :)
edit: btw, it is in amazing shape compared to ours...
looks like I read this too late. I just moved to Fargo in the past year. I have my ND carry permit, but I am looking to get an out of state UT permit so I can carry in MN.
Any more classes that you have planned for the next few months?

I was wondering something similar when looking at the requirements for the UT non-resident permit...and found this:

might help?
I purchased it in January, and it was my first handgun. I have shot ~600 rounds through it. I enjoy shooting it, and it is my home defense/carry gun. in fact, it is my only other firearm other than my 10/22. The problem is, I feel its fairly blocky, and just don't carry it very often. (i do...
I don't have a SS slide, but 8 months and no finish issues so far. There is a very small amount of holster wear near the nose of the gun, but nothing I would worry about.
I love mine btw, haven't had a jam or a mis-feed other than the first time to the range when I didnt seat the mag fully...
I might have missed the post if someone mentioned it already, but are silencers legal in Sweden? Another idea is if you do purchase a .22 for yourself. Get a revolver with the longest barrel possible, and shoot .22 shorts or subsonic ammunition through it. :)

Purchased it as a new-years day present to myself, put ~600+ flawless rounds down the pipe, and received my CCW last month. :D Life is good.
I wouldn't be afraid to mention it to someone (higher up) on campus. With all the craziness happening on campuses around the country....they might actually step up security for the next couple weeks. If you report it, and nothing changes...dont show up to some classes, tell your prof's your outa...
Is it common practice to un-holster your weapon when sitting in a public restroom? I guess I could see the reason to not want it 'dangling' into the adjacent stall though. The only other idea I would have is not drop them to the floor and keep them at half mast (think waistline just above the...
it might just be me... but for whatever reason I think the slide release is 10x easier with a loaded mag. Have her try it at the range with a loaded magazine if you havent yet. :)
while I don't have alot of ground to stand on, I intend to buy one as my first AR. AR15.com guys' have a few threads on them and I haven't seen a negative comment yet. I was going to build, but $ would only allow a bare bones similar build for pretty much the same coin. I think most lowers seem...
Not really knowing how gun laws will turn in the future, I'm looking to pick up one of the 3 listed in the title while I can. I want a fun/plinker/range gun/shtf/something to round out my collection some more.
Choices are:
CMMG inc bargain bin 16" flat-top AR-15 ($570 + $15 shipping + $20...
