Just glancing at the article and seeing the terrible grammar and overall writing skill of the author of this article is a testament to the caliber of students at ASU. To even post this on a web site with your school name is advertising that the students that attend this school are not very bright.

Josh, I also recently purchased a "FM" scope in 3x-9x-40mm. It seems to be an ok product so far. It's been holding its zero and it gathers light pretty well. I was told the company is out of Illinois and is just getting started. Hopefully we got lucky and found a diamond in the rough!

Thanks for the heads up BAT1. I'm definitely going to pull the bolt out and check the bore and chamber. I was also told to check the end of the barrel for nicks and cracks.

Haha, good one RC. I definitely want my hearing for awhile longer, so I'll stay away from the BOSS for now.

I just think he thought I was some college kid screwing around so he didn't pay any attention to me (which may determine whether or not I buy from him). I asked him and he didn't even look and just shrugged and said "I have no idea". I know it's a browning. I'm quite capable of identifying one.

I didn't even know that the regular BOSS was a muzzle break. I don't really want one of those anyways.

Hey guys, I'm looking at buying a Browning A-bolt Medallion in 7mm rem mag. I was wondering if there was any way to tell just from looking at the rifle, if it has the BOSS system. I asked the gentleman in the gun shop that is selling it and he didn't know. Also, is $475 a good deal for that...

Thanks Chaw, Yeah I've already matched up the serial numbers and everything on it. It's a pretty cool old gun. At this point I don't really trust my self doing it as I don't have any experience with it.

Thanks Jim. I had heard of the old Damascus twists and made sure it wasn't one of those before I even thought of bringing it in. I inherited the shotgun from my grandfather, and I think he just took the pin out because of all the kids running around at the time.

Well I called my local gun shop and he'll do it for 30-35 he said so I'm pretty sure I'll just take 'er there.

I'm looking to get a firing pin replaced on an old Bay State break action 16 ga. shotgun. I was just wondering what the price should be around to get it fixed by a local gunsmith. Thanks.
