Just purchased a early 1960s 2" for $250! Now I have to wait for CA's 10 day wait. It was cheap because of a bad duracoat finish. I plan on having it blued again and cannot wait. It is my first snubnose.
I tried doing research and couldnt find anything on this little .22lr revolver.
My friend just gave it to me in payment for building him an AR.
The trigger pull really sucked so I polished it up and cut down the weight of the trigger return by half or so as it jerked heavily. I also...
I think it is a matter of fit. The G30 has a girthy grip so you would have to see if you like it. Lots of people have issues with the G21 and G30 due to their smaller hands, others love it. Ive got gorilla hands and the gun fits my hand real well. The G30 is one of my favorite glocks to shoot...
I went with the grips I that were modded for my 22/45
You can also do the pre-travel screw with just a drill at home and a 4-40 tap from Lowes. I did it and it is is AMAZING compared to how much pre-travel I had before.
I have the SX3 and I love it. Found a 3.5" for $600 from a guy in CO with 200 rounds fired. I was worried about it being unreliable with lighter loads but all is well. Ive only shot as low as 1 7/8 Walmart special but thats the lowest I will ever shoot. Never one malfunction. I love this gun...
Whats your budget? It would be best to start there on how you should build it.
You can find a lower for $90 or 100. LPK for $60 + $35 trigger job from Bill Springfield. Then the stock depending on the type of build you want. You can make it as cheap as about $70. So thats ~$265 for a lower with...
I beg to differ when some say that the average thug will not have them. First hand I know of a couple of shady who have had them. Granted they were usually MACs and Tecs, but I have even seen where one was selling M16s. Kind of scary actually.
Id change the pistol grip, the buttstock, thread the barrel and add a flash hider, and then maybe even add Magpul MOE handguards.
1/7 barrel will handle about all the ammo you throw at it. Usually 55gr, even a little lower, all the way up to 77gr+.
Just picked me up a SX3 with 300 rounds down the tube for $600. Arrived at my FFL today and she doesnt even look like she has been shot yet. Dang 10 day wait.
A Saiga is best for HD or messing around. It's not as efficient at swinging as the other shotguns. Also the shorter barrels 19" and 24" are rather short.
Winchester states that it will only hold 4 shells of 2.5" and 3 shells of other loads.
This is the best I can find online, but mine has laminate stock.

Pics of mine with worse quality pics.
My friend's grandpa gave him this gun and in which he is letting me keep with me and on it it says "Ward's Western Field Model 87-SB87-TA" If it helps it also says "2094577 PATENTS 2224/58 2223039 RE22585 2271576"
From what I have researched all I can tell is that it is a Savage/Stevens model...
