Browning Buckmark as my .22 pistol? Which one?

I have the Bullseye Target model and really like it. Open sights and extremely accurate.

    A question about CZs

I own several CZs, but not the CZ 75 SA. However, I believe it has ambi safeties. I can attest that the P-01 is an incredibly accurate and wonderful pistol. Good luck in your hunt. Kent

    Target pistol - a good choice ??

The Browning Buckmark Bullseye Target with 7 and 1/4" bull barrel is a great shooter with a fine trigger. You can see one at: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=91527194 Mine is my favorite .22 and popular among Bullseye shooters in the local league. Kent

    s&w mp .45 lol

I'm interested in the S&W M&P 45, so I'm eager for your reports. Kent

    CZs: 75 & SP-01

I agree with Navy87Guy, as I have the CZ 75B, the SP-01, and the P-01 and think the SP-01 and P-01 are every bit as good as the 75B, if not better, IMHO. The P-01 is a better CCW pistol than the 75B and I actually shoot it more accurately than the 75B. The SP-01 is in a class by itself, due to...

    Ambidextrous Full sized .45 ACP

I'm in the same boat - a lefty searching for a .45acp with an ambidextrous safety. I'm particularly interested in the S&W M&P 45 and you can read about this pistol (and other M&Ps) at: http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php I'd suggest taking a look if you're interested in the M&P 45. The...

Which .22 to get people to start getting into the sport?

My first gun was a BROWNING BUCK MARK BULLSEYE TARGET PISTOL (.22LR) with a 7.5" fluted bull barrel. It was a joy to learn on and I still shoot it regularly. Kent

Need a full size 45 with a rail... HELP!!!

As the previous post noted, the CZ 97B is a fine .45ACP automatic - very accurate, reliable with FMJ ammo (HPs are a problem for some), and in your price range. I love mine. Kent

Recoil of PCR vs. CZ 75?

I have the P-01 and a 75B, and I think the P-01 actually recoils less than the 75B. It is just as accurate too. It is the same as the PCR, only the PCR lacks the rail, which I can't imagine makes much difference. CZs are amazing.

    Opinions on Kahrs

I had a P9 Covert that I really liked - accurate, reliable, and never any problems. I only sold it as I used my Glock 26 more for CCW. Mine was great and a fair price for the quality.

    H&K P2000SK versus Glock 26?

I'm considering either an H&K P2000SK or a Glock 26 for CCW and range use. I've shot the Glock 26 and really liked it and found it suprisingly accurate, while I've only held the P2000SK and thought it felt great. Both have good reputations. Any input appreciated. Thanks! Kent

Choice of Glock 26 or M&P compact 9mm?

I shot a friend's Glock 26 the other day and was impressed with its accuracy, low recoil, and terrific shootability - I was impressed, as I don't usually like Glocks that much (a CZ fan). I'm trying to choose between the G26 and the new S&W M&P compact in 9mm, but I've heard of magazine...

    5 inch 9

I have a CZ 75 Tactical Sport (9 mm) and I've shot my friend's Glock 34 - there is no comparison, as the TS shoots much easier and is far more to shoot accurately and quickly (at least for me). I have a Sig 2009 polymer in 9mm and while it's a nice gun, I find Sigs more top heavy than CZs, so...

    Kahr or Glock?

I've had both and still have my Kahr P9 Covert - slim, adequate capacity, and a very smooth trigger. Yes, the DAO pull takes some practice, but I prefer a slightly longer pull in a carry gun. The Kahr is quite accurate and I found an AGrip (http://www.brookstactical.com/) helps keep it in my...

    Low Recoil 9mm Pistols.

My CZ P-01 is quite good with regard to recoil, perhaps due to the heavier nose/rail. It's a bit better than the CZ 75B. I've also found the Glock 34 easy on recoil.

    CZ 83?

I agree - my .32 CZ83 is not ammo sensitive, and I've shot several brands, and its staple diet is S&B. Great gun, little recoil, ambi controls for us lefties, great trigger, and accurate.

    CZ vs XD

I own several CZs, but I've handled the standard XD9 and the XD9 subcompact and liked them. One think I noticed about the XDs is that they seemed more topheavy than the CZs and was wondering if anyone who's shot one thinks the same thing? I've not shot the XD but it seems to have a higher bore...

    CZ... so many choices...

Walt is exactly correct regarding the Pro-Mag magazines - "Pro-Mag for the CZ-75B Compact in .40 will work in the 9mm P-01, and will hold 13 or 14 rounds, depending on the follower." These are what I use in my P-01 successfully as "high-cap" magazines for 9mm. I found them at Natchez Shooters...

    Debating On A .45ACP Semi-Auto

I'm surprised no one has suggested the CZ 97B, a wonderful .45acp pistol for around $500. Supposedly as accurate as most 1911's for less money and a dream to shoot. I love mine. Here's a photo from the CZ-USA website: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c69/foxmoor/cz97b.jpg

    Cz 97 B

I love mine for the reasons noted above: affordable, very accurate, a joy to shoot. I was able to reduce grip size so that DA was achievable using a trick noted on the CZ Forum board (cited above). Use a Hogue wrap around grip for a CZ 75B, place the rubber one-piece grip in boiling water for...
