It gets worse. I don't think there is a cure. You know your hit bottom when you carve your Thanksgiving turkey with a custom San Mai or Damascus recurve/tanto/short sword & then have to buy a new gun safe cause there is not enough room for both. Oh well. Enjoy.
I want to thank you all for your responses. The 92' has been on my short list and my wife became impatient and ordered a Winchester 92'. It is a Miroku made 92' I believe. Should know Monday or Tuesday. I will let you know my first impressions when it arrives.
I have a beautiful 1873 by Uberti. It is well made and smooth. I also have a Win 94 trapper not to smooth but fun. Just always wanted a '92.
Thanks all, now to find a good deal on an octagon barrel/case colored 20".
Turnbull has very nice stuff. But a little too much.
Just trying to decide if the Rossi is good enough or if I should bother with Win or Puma or Taylor.
Who makes the best '92 in 45lc?
Rossi makes an inexpensive one.
I think Cimmeron, Taylor, Chiappa, and Puma are all made by Uberti? Anyone know? Are there others?
Thanks, Greg.
I know some don't like Cold Steel, but the new Tri-ad lock is very strong and their folders are good. Maybe not great, S35Vn IKBS knives but what I call work horses.
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
This was used as a motto on the title page of An Historical Review of the Constitution and Government of Pennsylvania. (1759); the book was published by Franklin; its author...
I did for several years, along with 3 gun. Now I have 2 kids, third on the way. My time is limited. We make EOT, to watch, each year now that it's in NM. To address the gamesmanship. I also am disappointed that it has gone this way. I still load 250gr at 900 fps. I do miss competing.
