Definitely give it a good cleaning and relube it. I couldn't believe how much packing grease was in mine when I bought it. No problems with mine after several hundred rounds.
I watched that episode and was thinking the exact same thing about the round count. Then the .22 to the head thing????? I just blame it on gun ignorant writers. I do like the show though. ;)
I don't believe the LCP is designed to hold the slide open on the last shot. I have a Taurus TCP for the 20% of the time that I cant carry my Glock 26. There are times I probably could have carried the Glock but was just too lazy. I have to watch myself in that regard because I am more...
Awful trigger!
Maybe I'm spoiled by my Buckmark but my Dad's father inlaw, I guess that would make him my Grandfather inlaw bought one of these. While the gun itself was not overly terrible the trigger did not promote anything to the accuracy. If there was a way to smooth up the trigger some...
Ruger Sr9c
As someone above stated this is a great gun to consider. Tried the Glock 26 and the 19. The Sr9c is right in the middle. Just right.:) If you want a full grip without extensions better just get another Glock 19. Either way you can't go wrong.
For the price the newest Sigma's are a great value. The ergonomics are great. I had a 9VE and would consider buying another one if I needed a pistol and was on a tight budget. Like someone said earlier the trigger is an easy fix. It will never be a target gun but it is more than accurate...
Glock 26. For some reason the subcompact Glocks fit my hand great. Super reliable and in the odd case something does break, the replacement parts is usually less than $10 and if you can assemble a toy for your kids you can work on a Glock.
I always have my Glock 26 either on me or on the table next to me. Girlfriend used to think that I was paranoid until we watched a couple of movies that had home invasion scenes. Just the other night we were watching a movie and during a home invasion scene someone knocked on our door. It was...
Glock 26 in a Blade-Tech IWB
Money clip/ID holder front right pocket
2" Gerber folding knife left front pocket
Spare mag in either left jacket pocket or single mag carrier on belt weak side
cell phone
keys
Need to get a small flashlight:uhoh:
I voted yes but it depends on the model. I love my G26 and its my EDC but I won't buy any .45 Glock. Too fat in the grip for my short fingers. Please don't suggest I buy a G36. If I'm limited to 7 rounds I'll carry a revolver.
The sp101 is very heavy for its size. If I'm gonna carry that much weight I'd rather carry my Glock 26. I also like the capacity of the Glock. I recently switched from a Ruger LCR to the G26 for that reason.
I voted same size but heavier based on what I carry now, a Glock 26 but it has been a long winding road to find the perfect CC for me. Here they are in chronological order:
Makarov in .380-Good gun heavy for caliber
S&W .380 Sigma-Total crap pot metal gun
Rossi .38-actually a pretty nice gun...
Primary or occasional carry?
If the gun is primarily for concealed carry get the 26. If it is for only occasional carry get the 19.
I have a 26 and my dad has the 19. I shoot the 26 just as well as his 19. People are right when they say the 19 conceals "almost" as well as the 26. The...
