I have a LCP and couldn't be happier. Totally dependable and fairly accurate for what it is. I guess you have to ask yourself if you want to carry all the time or some of the time. You can carry a pocket pistol all the time but probably not a glock 19. So for the situations that a G19 is too large to carry you have the pocket pistol. Personally I carry my LCP all the time since the next smallest pistol I have is my G17 which is quite large to try to carry concealed. I am working on getting my newest toy...my Dan Wesson .357 mag a 2.5" barrel and smaller grip so I can carry that when its colder and I can conceal a bigger pistol/revolver a little better.

I don't believe the LCP is designed to hold the slide open on the last shot. I have a Taurus TCP for the 20% of the time that I cant carry my Glock 26. There are times I probably could have carried the Glock but was just too lazy. I have to watch myself in that regard because I am more confident when I have the 9mm on.
