AK-74 in Indiana Needs Gunsmithing: Any Suggestions or Volunteers?

If the hole is about the same as an SKS, you could borrow a gas port reamer from a buddy with an SKS, or you may be able to use a pipe cleaner soaked in some hoppes #9 or whatever you use to clean your gun with. If its plugged, that should unplug it. After you clean it, I could clean your barrel...

LEOs, guns and mindset, part 2

Hey, that sounds like my Ex-Wife! I love the work that LEOs do, yes some are gun people, some aren't. I might be totally wrong here, but gun profiecent they may not have to be due to the area/department funding and so forth. Example, in one area a LEO may never have to use his sidearm, but...

    new yugo

I forgot about the bolt myself. Sometimes the retaining pin is hard to remove. A punch and a hammer should do the trick though. If you drill a hole in a board, you should give the retaining pin enough room to start sliding out. Oh an addition to this, whatever you do, do not oil the pin! Just...

    Government Officers Can't Carry Back-Ups

I know that us customs and the border patrol don't and can't carry BUGs. Then again, they have enough people standing around them armed that they wouldn't really have to worry about it.
