    Armalite ar10a2 in 308 problem

Twist rate is probably 1:11.25 and is irrelevant. The more important question is when was it built, and which barrel is it. In the instance of carbine and carbine profiled AR10s, 2MOA is average. That is a battle rifle, not a precision rig. If you want a precision rig AR10, the T is the...

Can you scratch build a 10/22 like an AR?

The new trigger packs are polymer and have a more rigid characteristic from the steel receivers. If that is a problem for you, there are very nice CNC milled trigger packs.

Use a Weaver adapter or mount to dovetail grooves?

Looking to optic my old .22 so I can start saving money on shooting. For those that are into 50y precision .22 are you mounting to your dovetail receiver grooves or are you using a Weaver adapter? I guess the fear is that the rings will begin to creep/walk but then again it's only a .22...

AR15 guys: Cool product for your spare bolt and bolt parts!

I received an interesting product in the mail a few weeks ago. We all love to stock up on spare parts in the event of a failure that halts our range session, training, and for those that serve, in combat. Prior to receiving this product, I organized my parts in little plastic baggies and put...

    Wolf Ammo in AR

Try it. A lot of half truths on the Internet. If it works in your rifle, it works. If it malfunctions, then don't use it. Doesn't apply to only ARs...applies to every firearm you will buy.

ACOG Reticle in "I Am Legend"

The fiber optic gathers light so efficiently and illuminates the reticle so well that people run them with duct tape over the fiber optic during the day.

Tell me how you carry rifle magazines and why?

Carry them where? To the range? I'll put them in my range bag. SHTF? I'm boarding my house up. The competitive shooters who work with AR platforms will have better answers for you I am sure. I'd look into a chest rig if I were looking.

How much did you spend building your AR?

Looking at your list of parts, you would've spent more money on a complete rifle...having to change out the stock for a CTR and A2 grip for a MIAD. You should get the 2 stage RRA trigger. Very crisp for the money.

    store w/o firing pin?

I don't really see a point. You want your guns safe, keep them unloaded, selector on safe, and locked in a safe.
