Probably not good ideas:
1: Autoloading rifle using repulsion of neodymium magnets instead of a spring to reciprocate the bolt.
2: Autoloading pistol incorporating a small compressed air cylinder to rack the slide, enabling those without much strength to charge the gun.
If we'd quit locking up millions of drug offenders, we'd have plenty of prison space to give forcible rapists and child molesters real life sentences - until their last breath life sentences.
