    Full size double stack .380?

I own a Sig 232. It’s a 7 shot .380. It’s really too big for a .380. :( Thing is, its great fun to shoot! It’s also easy to keep on target. I would love a Beretta full size .380. I bet it would be awesome. :) I guess full size .380’s are like .32’s in the revolver world. Not the most...

SAD News-Boy killed with NFA weapon-in Mass.

My wife just sent me the story and I came here looking for a good answer … Truth is, after reading all the posts, nothing said here will appease her completely. All she knows is that a qualified instructor – idiot or not – let a kid shoot himself. Now, though she says she trusts me … in her...

    Beretta Customer Service

Well it’s been two weeks since I sent Beretta my Tomcat. I have been out of town for the past week, but when I got home “the letter” from Beretta was waiting for me. That was Monday. Today (Thursday), I got a call from Beretta stating that they had looked at the pistol, found it...

    Start with Semi or Pump?

Well lets see. Both have 30” barrels, and both have the same choke so … if they really do feel the same, go with the semi as it is a bit lighter on recoil. Besides, most people do better on clays with semis over pumps. More hits = more fun :).

Only the manliest men can carry this gun

Nope - not man enough. Dude that's just wrong lol.

    Beretta Customer Service

Well Lonestar49 I am sorry to tell you that it seems you may be right! I e-mailed Beretta yesterday asking that they at bare minimum send me a confirmation of receipt for my pistol, and I still haven’t had a response. Hopefully UPS buggered the delivery and I’ll get the $400 insurance +...

    Beretta Customer Service

Oh man that sounds like a F’n nightmare!!! Considering they have you by the B***S, what are/can you do? Me personally, I think I’ll start e-mailing them now as they still haven’t acknowledged receipt of my pistol. Considering it cost me $90 to “overnight” it … I know they have it. Man I...

    Beretta Customer Service

Hmmmmm. So don’t hold my breath is what I am getting out of all this. I guess the good thing is with all the poor reports coming in – the only thing Beretta can do is impress me! Thanks for all the responses and helping me prep for the “fight,” and possible disappointment. I’ll...

    Beretta Customer Service

Has anyone had to deal with Beretta’s customer service? Are they reasonable? What’s their turn around times? I bought myself one of those little Tomcats (the blued model). Darn things frame broke with less than 100 rounds through it … sigh. I went to their web site and...

When are the Ruger .327’s going to get here?

Why is it I can’t seem to get one out my way then? ARG. Thanks 461 – I’ll try harder. Do you reload your .327? If you do … what have you come up with?

    Ruger Single Six

I don’t know first hand, but I understand most all of the .17HMR’s shoot more accurately than their .22lr counterparts, and are certainly more accurate than the .22WMR. “They” say it’s because the bullets are better made … but again, I don’t know for sure. I think if you go to gunblast.com...

    .380's are unreliable

.380's are unreliable? Hmmm … The only quasi deserved caliber I know of that is unreliable, is the .22lr. But that’s because it’s a rim fire. I hate to sound like a broken record, but my Sig 232 is the most reliable pistol I have ever owned. From day one, it has never had any kind of...

    Wife's/Young Son's First Elk Rifle?

It’s all been said one way or another here already but you know it’s hard to give good advice without knowing the individuals involved, plus the kind of hunting involved … Take for example this story … Way back when my Uncle and I were younger men my uncles new neighbors thought it would be a...

    A "2-for-1" Rifle ???

Don’t forget SD. That’s what makes the 6.5 such an awesome stopper as compared to the .243 with larger game. Sectional density in a bullet is huge! As for recoil – the .308 and even the .270 kicks and bangs enough more than a .243 or .260 Rem as to make them less desirable to some, and...
