VZ Grips makes some nice grips for the SP. Bigger than the factory grip but not as big as the wood Pachmayrs. G10 so they don’t grab my jacket or overshirt.

Here's my Safety Hammerless, circa 1898. Dan Johnson (RIP) of Handguns Magazine used it in a column on how everything old might be new again, namely the trigger safety on these 100-year-old designs.
Never shot it, but it's a nice little revolver.
Dan Wesson Razorback. Best fit and finish of any 1911 I've shot, including a buddy's Wilson, for about what I paid for my used TRP Operator a few years ago.
I have the Mesa 6-round side saddle with rail on my 870; it is a bloody rock. Much sturdier than the TacStar one it replaced, and it gives me the option of using a RDS for slugs if I want.
Take a look at the Dan Wesson line. I recently picked up a Razorback (10mm), and in terms of fit and finish, it easily equals my buddy's Wilson CQB and my custom built CCO. Traditional 1911A1 design, all tool steel parts, and shoots great.
Be advised, I ordered a pair of buffalo horn grip panels for my Wife's GP100 from that place in Viet Nam, and it took three months for them to fill the order and ship them. Had to threaten them thru PayPal.
They're nice grips, but I wouldn't use that vendor again.
