i have never used teflon, but on another site that has some VERY experienced shooters on it say no to teflon, use anti sieze compound.

in a post i noticed someone mention chamfering the chambers. was wondering if anyone has done this and did it help accuracy/loading. i have a 51 navy replica that im getting good groups with but would like to do better. also has anyone polished the chambers and if so, did it help?:confused:

anthony, i started with a tc hawken and loaded as little as 12 grs fff for my nieces and nephews to shoot.

in my experience, wheel weights work fine as far as accuracy in a rifle with prb. i dont believe they will flatten as well as soft lead in game, but i use a 62, anyway. i also know that at shoots, wheel weights dent steel targets much more than soft lead.:confused:

i may be wrong, but i understood the 1 gr per caliber applys to rifles with prb:D
