My 625-3 5". While I like it, have been wanting to trade it for a 1911, but with price difference, have to put it off for a while. DA pull is a bit long, but I can shoot it well in SA.

Thanks for input. I would be trading with an individual or selling outright. I never trade in a gun at a dealer; that is as bad or worse than trading cars. Wasn't aware of IDPA change; don't follow competition shooting. I traded a Beretta 92 Inox with 4 mags for this one.

I have owned and sold 1911's in .45 and .38 Super. Now I don't have any, and everytime I look at a nice used Kimber, Colt or S&W 1911, I drool. Also like the Sig, but it is out of my price range (I am retired and money is not as available now). Thinking seriously of trading my 625-3 .45 ACP...

Has anyone run across any legal opinions about using laser sight add-ons on a handgun? Either laser grips or the kind that attach to trigger guard or rail. Thanks

Did the grips from Anaconda fit properly? I thought that was a bit larger frame. If they fit properly and feel good, that might be one answer. Thanks

Looking for more comfortable grips for Mk III. I found Pachmayr but only without finger grooves. I would prefer finger groove grips, but it appears would have to go to wood. Anyone have something they are happy with? I don't find the stock wood grips to be very comfortable. Thanks
