Never installed carbine tube

It was the pa10 lower parts kit and it came with a milspec carbine buffer tube and spring. I am now using it in a full length tube housed inside a Magpul PRS stock

I tried using my ar15 rifle length buffer spring and buffer and it still did not work...

Ok I just finished my build from PSA I have a ptac lower and pa10 18" ss upper. My issue now is that when I took her to the range when I would run the bolt the round would seat but bolt would be about 1/4 to 1/2" out of battery and not attached to the round... I am thinking it might be a problem...

I prefer the optic to be illuminated so that it can be used as a red dot.

than what about an eotech with PA magnifier?
