Hi everybody,
I need a hand. I bought a used custom benchrest rifle in 22-250 and have been trying out several loading recipes with 50-55gr. range bullets.
Yesterday, I decided to check out the barrel twist rate and was surprised to find it's got 1:16".
Then, I calculated the ideal bullet...
GBExpat,
Inaccurate ? Not so, you'd be surprised. Time consuming ? Much faster than conventional reloading after you find a quick way of pulling bullets out (made myself a tool for it) . Cost ? Next to nothing.
Just sold my 7.62 x 54R. Got whole lot of surplus ammo. Thought of using bullets and powder in my .303 longbranch and that undersized bullets would let gas through and dammage to the bore.

I can reload 32RF using H&C Collection reloading kit with black powder and acorn .22 blanks as primers. Easy and fun. Check their website (do a google search on H&C collection) and click on the english flag for english version, Go to instructions on reloading 32RF.
