1911 I bought a new Ruger SR1911 about 3 weeks ago. I appreciate 1911's more now than I did. It's not my EDC but I always take it to the range when I practice. 1911's are like single action revolvers, part of American history.

I shot off sand bags. Accuracy seems as good as my M&P's and Hi-Powers.

SR1911 very good I picked up one yesterday. This gun is very well made. Fit and finish is very good. After cleaning and lube I went to the range and shot 100 rounds. No problems. Accuracy shooting from a rest was also good. Some people just don't like Ruger but if it's as good as my Security...

My 39AS action was much better with the take down screw just finger tight.

LW Commander I have an XSE LW Commander also. I've had no problems with it. Fit and finish are good. I replaced the metal magazine followers with plastic. No feed problems.

FN Hi-Power I have one in .40 and haven't had any problem. I think it's a great system.

Smith & Wesson 642/442 .38 spl. Best compromise for concealed carry.

WD-40 I had one lockup on me before. It was caused by cleaning the gun years ago with WD-40, before I new better, and letting it set in the safe for several years. I completely stripped the gun, cleaned and lube it with clp and it works fine now.

I've been a BHP fan for a long time. I recently bought two M&Ps, 9mm and .40. I like them. Very accurate pistols.

I have two M&P pistols. A full size .40 and a compact 9mm. They are the only guns I have that I like just like they come from the factory. Good triggers, sights and grips on both. I think some people are too picky about the triggers. These are not bullseye guns.
