Delivery driver looking to CCW on a budget

A lot of states, like here in MO, allow deadly force if it is used during a forcible felony (armed robbery, carjacking, etc). Whichever gun you get, practice, practice, practice. I would suggest a snubby hammerless design that you could carry in a coat pocket. If you feel you need to defend...

What Was Your Fathers Favorite Firearm ?

My grandpa was my hero. His favorite gun was his Belgium Browning Auto in 12 gauge that he bought in the late 50's. Serial number is 9XX. Many, many dead pheasants.

I agree with the golf balls. Hit em right and they go sky-high. Try to hit em out of the air, I never have, but a boy can dream.

What should I include on a bill of sale?

A friend of a friend is going to buy one of my pistols. To protect all those involved I'm going to do a bill of sale. I know I should have our names, addresses, gun being sold with serial number, and price. Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

    Advertising moles among us?

I'm sure advertisers do check this out, they always want to know what the "common man" wants. If there's a newbie looking for info I think the regular members will take care of shoving the Glock down their throats, they don't need a factory rep for that.

Deadliest catch - Shooting tote with Mini 14

I remember an episode where one of the captains was talking about the Cold War days. He said that Russian intelligence would disguise trawlers and the Reds would tail the crab boats. If you're in international waters you have to have some way to defend yourself.

Just wondering if anyone uses the Tuck This holster from DeSantis. In theory it sounds like an ok idea, but in practice may be a different thing.

Best way to cook a rabbit?

Nobody's had rabbit pie? My grandma used to make it for me all the time. Don't know the exact formula but it was rabbit meat with some kind of gravy put in a baking pan with biscuits baked on top of it. Phenomal. I need to call my grandma.

    Tactical disadvantages of appendix carry?

Appendix carry can make driving uncomfortable. Otherwise you have to remove the weapon each time you get in and replace it when you get out. If the gun is small enough try a pocket holster. They make some good ones that hold securely and break up the outline.

    Prescribed Anxiety drugs today.......

If you are under 25 it can cause suicidal thoughts or tendencies when you start to take them. I say lock them up until you see how the first several weeks go and then go from there.

ways to conceal carry WITHOUT holster?

Most Americans are generally too involved in their personal electronic devices to notice that you have a slight bulge on your hip. I've been using a Clipdraw for about a year with no problems. Never felt loose, never shifted. I'll start using a holster now that it's getting cooler and I can...
