Best large bore for suppressed bolt action?

The 77/44 is hard to beat. You can get decent accuracy out of them and certainly with an aftermarket barrel.

    Spinta Precision.....anybody buy from them?

I agree with his ^ findings...good to go. Their bolts even have a little extra mass to them which will only help with most builds.

Assorted cartridges (calibers as most would say) to have on hand?

I tend to lean the other way of having plenty of "loaner firearms" that people are welcome to use. They always fall in line with a caliber for which I have thousands of rounds available. Either method would work I suppose.

    Suppressed hog hunting

Subsonic rounds will most certainly work for medium game within ~200yds. I can attest that a 240gn 44Mag plodding along at 950fps is not only near silent when suppressed, but will zip right through a big buck at 100yds. The same can be said for 300BLK. Put it where it needs to go and you...

    Removing Manufacturer's Name

I would be curious about removing the "Remington" on a 700 action. I have seen it done in several circumstances.

    Threaded Barrels

I have run Lone Wolf, Storm lake, and KKM all without issue. All have been perfectly concentric and well-machined.

    Lever gun deer cartridge?

I live in Ohio as well. While it is a rather restrictive law (and list of cartridges), it is a welcomed change. I ended up getting a Ruger .44 Carbine and topping it with a Leupold M8 3x. It looks and handles like a big boy 10/22. With decent loads it is darn near the same as a standard...

    FNAR opinions?

I had a FNAR and wanted to love the thing, but once I started building LR-308s it was a no-brainer and they FNAR got the boot.

    Any cannon owners here?

I have been building custom cannons of all sizes for some time now and finally made it an official business. I can say with certainty that there are quite a few happy cannon owners out there.

Gauging Interest in 80% Carbine Kits

I actually just picked up a Bridgeport this week and got it moved in and ready to go. It would be awesome to see an 80% carbine kit in 9mm that takes Glock mags.

Open Season in My School District !

Somewhat on topic... I just did an interview and photos with Dayton Daily about concealed carry on campus. I'm the UD student leader for the group we're trying to start so we can bring speakers to campus. It really is a 50/50 issue with half in support and half against. I assume you're...

lets discuss 7.62 NATO semi auto platforms.

I've been pretty happy with FN's FNAR. Excellent accuracy and build. Some will complain about mag cost, but they are also built to last.

    Delay question

My delays began right after my NICS check for clearance. Even with my UPIN they still initially say to delay me. It's not until the dealer fights with them that they realize what the heck is going on.
