I have the older version of the Feather 22 rifle called the AT 22. Nice plinking gun and extremely lightweight. At the range today, I saw this person with a CZ 22LR upper for an AR. It looked really nice and was surprisingly accurate. I believe J&G have them on special now for around $280...

I have owned a Auto Ordnance 1927A1 since the early 90s and just love it! Recoil is nil and it is a blast to shoot. Enjoy your new toy!

I agree with SM. 28ga is the way to go. I have 28 ga 1100 sporting which is a dream to shoot. I looked at a Franchi 48AL in 28ga a few weeks ago. What a nice sweet gun. Their website claims it's the lightest auto made. I'm thinking about picking one up for my daughter as she has now...

I have a Ruger 77 VT in 6ppc. The gun is beautiful but that's about it. The trigger is stiff, best accuracy with reloads is just slightly under 1moa. Accessaries are nil. My best friend has the Ruger VT in 308 and he is not impressed. It doesn't shoot well. I have a 700pss, 70 HV and 10FP...

PJR, The rust problem has always been an issue with Remington shotguns. I got quite of a few of them with rust too. Must be the cheap blueing.......

I have a 11-87 SC and it's a great gun. But I think $600 is high for a used model. I would look into a new 1100 instead.
