I understand open carry will be legal even for non-residents. Doesn't make sense, does it?
Considered that but decided against it . . . Too many potential problems there. :(
I'm in Northeast Tennessee and travel often into Southwest Virginia. Completed my VA non-resident CHP application and according to USPS priority mail tracking the packet got to the Virginia State Police in Richmond on December 28.
Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with
the...
Recently installed a Supercell pad from Remington on my old '77 model Wingmaster. The recoil reduction was significant as compared to the original factory pad. Got mine from amazon. You have to be careful to order the right one.
I ordered a 3R grip for my round butt K-frame on October 15 and received it on November 5.
Not bad service at all!
I understand that Tyler has had recent problems meeting demand but believe they intend to right the ship.
Here's wishing them the best of luck . . . they have a very nice...
Years ago, Midway shipped with zero shipping or handling charges. When they started the 'handling' charge I emailed the owner and sure 'nuff, got a prompt reply from him. He went into considerable detail explaining why Midway found the new charge necessary.
I have not ordered from Midway...
I had the same thing happen, but it got straightened out as soon as the carbine was shipped. Somehow, Fedex reuses the tracking number and it is renewed when shipment takes place. :banghead: :cuss:
You will get your carbine as scheduled . . . :D
The title says it all. My 1894 in .44mag doesn't work very well using lead swc bullets. I have a few thousand .38 special rounds loaded with light loads and 148 grain swc bullets. Wonder if the 1894C in .357 will feed this .38 special ammo reliably?
Howdy, rancher; and I really appreciate the information
I have a belt & holster & twin ammo pouch from Mernickle that I use with my Wilson CQB for IDPA competition. The Mernickle rig works quite well and I will check his website for info on a holster for the five inch Model 60.
I just got my...
Thanks, OM. I have already stumbled onto a decent solution. Found a Bianchi 5BHL in the 'extra holster' box. This particular holster was designed for the M60 with three inch bbl. By cutting the closed end off, the 5" Model 60 fits quite nicely with about 2" of barrel extending past the end of...
Need a holster for the M60 with 5" barrel. A Bianchi 5BHL would do fine, but evidently they are not yet in production for the five inch barrel length.
Anyone out there know of another possibility for a strong side J frame holster that will accomodate a five inch barrel?
TIA
Don't agree with all their actions but they are the best voice we have and need our support. Strongly recommend you join in the effort to protect our basic rights . . .
Try the Winchester Power Point . . .
Most accurate .22 long rifle HIGH VELOCITY ammo I ever used is the Winchester 40 grain Power Point. It's a hollowpoint round and shoots into a half inch at 50 yards from my Savage/Anshutz Model 54 Sporter. :),
Is also very accurate from other .22 rifles...
(IMHO) Gimmicky is ok so long as it's practical . . .
That said, I wouldn't have much patience with a stage that required loading individual rounds in a magazine. Starting with a mag less than full is sometimes interesting, (El Prez) but individual rounds is just taking it too far.
This is...
per the dukeofurl . . .
"I know, but I'm the match director so I can do whatever I want."
duke . . . please advise where you direct these IDPA matches the permit use of shoulder holsters. I want to be sure I do NOT accidentally show up at one of your matches. :cuss: :banghead: :mad...
Had a Remington 870 trap gun some years ago. Bought it with a new Timney trigger installed. The old 'steel' trigger assembly came with the gun, wrapped in a shot bag.
Sold the trap gun some years later, including the Timney trigger. Forgot about the old trigger assembly which is in the bottom...
