You're probably right... it was probably just a powder load but still...wow! Speaking of filler, I used to use cornmeal to fill up the rest of the cyl when I loaded 25 grains ...then cornmeal then ball just to seat the ball closer to the forcing cone...worked really well and great accuracy!
Anyone catch the chain fire of the Remington used for the starting gun? Had that happen 1 and only 1 time in '79 when I first got a c&b: revolver and didn't have any crisco. Never let that happen again!
