I am looking to buy a T/C pistol for hunting. I currently own an Encore muzzleloader. What are the advantages of the G2, Encore and or Pro-hunter as far as pistol use? Obviously the G2 would have been the choice in prior years if you wanted to shoot rimfire but now they can all fire rimfire...

You cannot use a 3 1/2 barrel for a couple of reasons. 1) Benelli never made a barrel for the M1 that had a 3 1/2 in. chamber 2) The super blackeagle barrel which is 3 1/2 in. is totally different. Benellis were imported by H&K in the 80's and are worth no more money than a Benelli marked M1.

I am looking at a Weaver 2.5-8 pistol scope. Anyone use one or have an opinion?

I have purchased a G2 pistol in .22lr. Wanting to mount a scope but not sure which one to get. Any suggestions? Will be using this for tree rats, etc.

Thanks guys. I will just buy a pistol frame and be done with it. If you guys are right about this then they sure shouldn't be telling people it is ok to do this. I would rather spend a couple hundred on a new frame than thousands on an attorney.

I just spoke with t/C customer service and they said it is perfectly legal to go from rifle to pistol and pistol to rifle. the only thing is never use a pistol barrel with a buttstock.

I was afraid of that. It is just crazy that is works one way, pistol to rifle, but not the other. As long as you are not using a barrel less than 16" with a butt stock it should be ok. Oh well. I guess I will buy a pistol frame.

I have both a G2 rifle and Encore muzzleloader. Can I switch these to pistols by adding the pistol grip and appropriate barrel or is this illegal since they started as rifles?

I just purchased a T/C G2 rifle in .204 Ruger and need ammo suggestions. I know Hornady makes 3 or 4 different ones. Any help would be appreciated.

What is a good barrel twist rate for a bolt action in .308?...I am thinking of buying one of Remingtons SPS Varmits in .308 and not sure if their 1-10 rate is the way to go or not. Also does anyone know the difference between the varmit and the police model?

I just purchased the SPS Varmit in .223 but have not scoped it yet or fired it. I look forward to hearing others comments as well.

I just purchased a Remington 700 SPS varmit in .223 and need some scope recommendations. I will be using it for coyotes. I have a new Burris 3-9 laying around but not sure if that would be the right choice. Your suggestions are appreciated.

I am thinking of getting a barrel for my T/C Encore or G2 in this caliber. Have not heard much about it other than some Special OPs are looking at it. Anyone use it for hunting at all?

Bass Pro had it today when I was there only it is $5.99 a box now. They had cases of it there but I could not pay that much for plinking ammo.
