Best place for extra shells on shotgun? Indicate how many shells in your post.

I have a 5 shot side saddle that slips over the stock. Works fine for me.

    Chilean Mauser "Modelo 1912"

Looks like a fair price on that pup. As long as it is in good shape. I think the matching serial number thing is a collector type of thing. If your going to just shoot it for game or whatever I would say its an Ok price.

How Safe is Old Ammo To Shoot

I have 5 boxes of paper wrapped 12 ga. & some 20 year old 16 ga. The paper is corroding on the 12's er Brass. Its all American ammo. How do you tell if something is safe to shoot? I have 6 boxes of 40 year old 22 bullets that are starting to turn green as well. Thanks!

Hmmmm.. I feel for ya! The guys here in Missouri swear by the 50 cal Black Powder Rifles. The guys I know say they are accurete as all getout but, also say after one shot the Deer (Buck) is outta there! So, unless wounded bad you will never get a 2nd shot.

Huh...What? My 995 came with 10 round mags. It shoots pretty good at 25 yards. It never had any problems after shooting 200 rounds.. not one problem.! Also, after one shot the Deer will be in the next County unless, you are Annie Oakley!

    Kel-tec Sub 2000, Hi-point 995, CX4 Storm?

My High Point 995 has a great trigger. No creep or slack but, is a firm pull & dosn't seem overly heavy. Most happy with it. Mine starts with the E serial number if this helps.

Man this is close to a tack driver for a 40's rifle! I did a complete clean job on it & noticed one of the ejector rods would not move. It has two. Anyone know if they both should move? I get a failure to eject the casing now & then. Thanks!

S&W trigger job guys, WHAT'S THIS?!?

As much as they charge for a new S&W you would think they would be flawless. The trigger shoud be smooth as butter also!

Got me a P22 for home defene and concealed carry!!!

With a .22 you want penetration as in FMJ rounds. A LEO once told me a .380 is minimum for SD. It might definately persuade some bad guys to leave you alone though.

Mythbusters: less than 3" at 25 yrds w/ snubnose

I have seen a LEO shoot 1,5" groups with a S&W snub at 25 yards. He was an arms instructer. He double tapped a vicious perp once with the same snub. It was lights out for the perp!
