I have a few hundred rounds thur my full size sr1911....great gun! had a p97 ...ok! p-90 with the houge grip ..great gun.....sr1911 :) hands down winner imo..
in a large plastic tote with latches that cam over to hold the lid on...I put a EMPD -seal on it and added dryz air to it....... then up on the top shelf in the shop where the temp stays 60 to 70deg 24/7....primers go in 50cal ammo cans with dryz air to ..... still shooting the same Clinton...

there not much to be had up here either......BUT there are lots of 6mm bullets to be had ....dam near bought a 6mm rifle just cause of that fact.....then again I loaded up on stuff last oct, as I seen to many folks with there hand out come voting time....imo
wife loves it ....... lite to carry ......i like the little lip u can install on the bottom of the "clip"...my big hand can hang on well...no jamm'.s.. nothing.
the old "Pachmyer presentation" grip has worked for me the gun still rolls ...but i got some big hands...hav'nt found any other grips that work as well (well since the early 90's)
u got her rite , as jw is "allways rite" ;)...i have not looked up the spec' on what the 22-250 was worked up from...but it looks to me like folks are trying to find what they already got...
I see alot of folks trying to get a 70+ grain bullets in a .223/22-250. when you could jump to another caliber and just shoot the "low end" of that round,........"as fast as u could push them" ,AND still hit something was the "motto" was it not? :banghead:
ok i had enough of here say... and called them today ...i was only looking at the .224 bullets 22/250... there all match grade!...(they watch there p's and q's)...." target ones" have a smaller "hp" then the varmit ones a bigger hp to expand faster....other than that they are the same.! ..last...
well, here we go .. I take a "xgrain round" ,start at 1gr below max(by the book!.. that we all buy/have!) and come up with a "powder match" , then i well work up, the real numbers/chambers cut long and/or short ..a starting point is needed......... after this we /i work on the length...

twofifty... a old and 'mean' gunsmith said go this route, even add a few more rounds to the mix......this was about "all the same size ,trimed /cleaned rounds i had for a small test." hell the gun aint here yet.. ( i have 400+ fed rounds ready to load ) but was looking for a small test...
