Rock River Arms has almost doubled there line of firearms, or that's what it seems like, and no nobody has yet to say anything on THR? I can't believe its been an entire day now and I'm the only person to notice it. They expanded there LAR-8, 6.8, and 458 line as well as added a new .223 pistol...
i would but i live in the great state of south dakota, great idea though.
i've seen a few rohm's and believe it or not this gun is even lower quality, although i don't know the condition of yours.
MCgunner, thats what i thought when i first saw this gun.
i think i'm going to work some on...
I bought a revolver from a friend for $5.00 it is marked as 22lr on the barrel, the side has the words,
terrier one
serrifile inc.
lancaster, ca.
i've never seen a gun so junky, i think i might have over payed actually.
believe it or not it actually works... sometimes, light primer...
it seems to me that everyone thinks the rifle was 22lr. the article just says .22-caliber rifle. this could mean 223 remington or other 22 cal cartridge.... maybe i'm wrong though.
recoil is just momentum, keep newton's third law in mind. if two guns weigh the same you get....
40s&w- 3.67 kg*m/s (thats at 1200fps and a 155gr bullet)
40s&w- 3.73 kg*m/s (thats at 1050fps and 180gr bullet)
45 acp- 3.84 kg*m/s (1050fps 185gr)
45 acp- 4.09 kgm/s (900fps 230gr)
hornady manual for m1 garand 30-06 data says to use 45.5 grains of AA2495 for a 168gr bullet (that's max load), it also says it should be going 2600 fps.
i would try reducing your load.
