Rock River Arms has almost doubled there line of firearms, or that's what it seems like, and no nobody has yet to say anything on THR? I can't believe its been an entire day now and I'm the only person to notice it. They expanded there LAR-8, 6.8, and 458 line as well as added a new .223 pistol that reminds me of the PLR-16. Oh and my favorite- the new LAR-40, a 40S&W AR.

I have two DCMs and one M4 variant. At least equal to my Armalites, DPMS and Bushmasters.

RRA

20" heavy barrel with their two stage trigger installed. Superb.

Great units. I have the 24" varmint unit and it shoots an easy 1/2 moa out of the box.

It's heavy though.

I have an LAR-8,Mid-length flat top with railforearm, excellent weapon. I have heard some reports of feeding issues due to interference with the locking lugs on the bolt hitting the feedlips on the magazines but mine has run with out a hitch thus far.:D Some twothousand+ rounds thew it. I would like to put a MagPul stock on it and a Phantom brake.Wish I could convert it to an Op-Rod but it is more of a range gun...

I wish Rock River would answer their damn phones or reply to email. I have been trying to get parts for my LAR-8 for 3 months now. They make a nice rifle but their customer service stinks.

They are very busy building rifles. Mine are great complete guns and components...always good stuff.

RRA is good, not great. They have plenty of fans, mostly do to their ability to market and creating a good looking product. Some of their stuff is pretty good, a lot of it is so so.

They use to be a very good deal. Kind of overpriced these days in some ways.

I like their LPK's, 2-stage triggers, receivers, and a few other things they make. They make good hunting/varmint/target/match guns too.

I hate their adjustable buttstocks.

I shot my RRA NM "stock out of the box" for my first year of NRA HighPower. The gun just shoots the lights out. I ordered a White Oak (as soon as I bought the RRA NM because of the 22 week wait) figuring I needed the best, which it is but not a LOT better than the RRA NM. If I still had the RRA I'm sure it would still outshoot me.

Just finished building an A/4 from scratch..........all RR parts & mid length stainless HB..........good looker & better shooter!

I've owned or used Colts/Bushmasters etc, the RR are easily right there with them.

I love my AR 15 A2, I want an LAR8 but the wait is too long to get one as with most .308 AR 10s. DPMS wont even send me a catalog after asking 3 times I have the 2008 catalog though. Rock River makes some really good arms.

Good unit. I used mine at a Pincus carbine class last year--no issues, 1200 rounds in 2 days, nothin' but brake cleaner and CLP.

The only thing I buy from RAA is a stripped lower receiver and LPK. Other than that, they're inferior AR-15's, they don't use top quality components and are not assembled properly. Of course, if you only shoot 500 rounds a year with an RRA, you'll never see the difference. But out there, some people have to bet their life on their AR-15, and RRA will not allow you to do that, PERIOD. It's a fact, just a fact.

Now all the sensitive people will tell me I'm an idiot, their feelings got hurt. They likely don't shoot 20k+ rounds a year neither.
