    Suggest .308 bullet mold please!

Wow, how did you get the 311365 so fast? Was it a used one? I want that one, and a .45 HP die and I'll be set for the next few months at least.

    Imperial sizing wax

Is the Redding Imperial Wax the same thing with just a different label? Anyone use the Hornady Unique lube? Since they say it can be used to waterproof boots, I have a feeling it's Mink Oil.

    Suggest .308 bullet mold please!

Wow those are fine looking! I think I want to use a mold like that for .308 Win precision shooting on steels. I'd love to know the mold number! I've got about 300lbs of lead I've been cleaning up and turning into Ingots. I think I'm ready to take the next step and buy the molds.

    Remove a live primer?

Reloading manuals and die directions say to never deprime a live primer. I'm too cheap for that. I gear up for war and deprime the live primers in my Rockchucker with a clear table (nothing to ignite). I've never had one go off, but I'm sure it will happen eventually.

    Stupid mistake #132

I love the smell of fresh powder! But I've never snuffed that particular one.

    Hogden CFE-223

We have been using it with Hornady Z-max .223 for a few weeks now, and I'm going to load it up with Nosler 155gr .308 once my dies show up. So far it's everything they say it is; clean, and meters well. I haven't tested it's temperature sensitivity yet, that will come more when I develop a load...

    RCBS Pistol Bullet Feeder

I didn't see that RCBS had one out till after I had bought a Hornady bullet feed die and some plastic tubing. That said, I'm into it for only $30. I've not yet set it up, but I plan on giving it a try this weekend!

    .357 sig

Just FYI - The Dillion "carbide" dies are just a sleeve of carbide, it does nothing for the necked portion. What Swampman does with the 10mm/40S&W carbide die to size the side walls is effectively the same thing but considerably cheaper. I've been using this method since about 2000.

    Missouri Bullet and Tightgroup?

Thank you. That gives me a ballpark idea of where to start. On the same thread, does anyone have a super-accurate recommendation for powder if I did feel like buying another pound...assuming the same two bullets of course?

    Missouri Bullet and Tightgroup?

I thought I'd add: I'm loading .45 Button 185 Grain SWC for my fiancé's Kimber I'm loading IDP #5 180 Grain TCFP for my Springfield XD Tactical I still have a few hundred Montana Gold 9mm, so I'm going to figure out the 40 and 45 before I buy more Missouri Bullets.

    Missouri Bullet and Tightgroup?

I'm out of Win231 (And so is everyone else around here), and I have several pounds of Tightgroup. Searching the forums, I don't see any pet loads mentioned for Tightgroup and .45 or .40. Is Tightgroup the wrong powder to be using with lead? I should preface this to say, I've been reloading...

THR Discount Offer from Missouri Bullet Company

Thanks for recommending I try lead. My fiance just picked up her first 1911 this last weekend, and we are having trouble finding inexpensive practice ammo...so it's time for me to start teaching her to roll her own! I also picked up some .40 for myself. Lets see how that works!

Safety Rules and Guides - Researching

I'm gathering information for a local gun club. I would like to find the range rules and best practices from clubs and ranges that do Action Shooting Sports that allow drawing from holsters and shooting steels. Around in these parts, we have few good ranges, and even fewer of them host any...

Any other shotgun slug fans here

I've not tried my Super Nova yet, Jim. I joined a gun club last weekend, but got rained out before I could do anything. Rain doesn't stop me much, but until my membership goes through, I have to be accompanied by a club member...and nobody wanted to play in the rain. :) I got the Super Nova...

Any other shotgun slug fans here

I just got my first shotgun, a Benelli Super Nova. And I've picked up a variety of shells to try out, including some rifled slugs. Jason, I'd love to see your reloading guide for slugs. I'm considering reloading for shotgun to see if I can get it down to .50 a shell (at least that's my goal)

    Recommend Hearing Protection

With electronic muffs can you hear range commands through plugs if the volume is turned up? I'm not sure...possibly. I'd be fine with using both if I could. Have you lost hearing in both ears? Mostly in my left, but yes, in both unfortunately You do understand that you will loose more...
