Does anyone use the Game Reaper one piece mount with a Prostaff 3-9X40? I bought one for my Savage 110 and it fits the gun, but the scope touches the base before the tube seats in the ring. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I have an old Mossberg 640KA (bolt action 22mag) and it's been having some issues feeding new rounds from the clip. The clip is a little loose and you have to push up on the bottom of it to get the rifle to feed a new round. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so...
