I like the glock simplcity and durabilty concept; however, I can not shoot them well for anything. My Sig, 1911, and p7 no problem. I always shoot low and left with a glock. I am sure it is trigger control and grip angle issue.
My 220 SAS carry was perfect out of the box for under a $1000. (It took me a while to warm up to the DAK)
No break in excuses. 100% No failures; feeds and fires everything.
No special mags
Extremely accurate.
I fell for the hype had a Kimber TLEII, shot well with a few malfunctions...
I have both sigs and h&k. Depending on caliber I would recommend a p220 for .45 or a p226 for 9mm. H&K p7 or a USP. The USP LEM trigger is the only consideration. The only difference preference ans customer service.
I had a loaded model that was beautiful. It was so tight that about every 6 rounds I would have a failure to go into battery. I never liked the guide rod plug contraption, it made a fantasic weapon cheap. Sold mine for Kimber TLE and never looked back.
Are the Wilson Shok Buffs any good? Are these device necessary or worthwhile if you do not shoot competition? Do they change accuracy or reliability any? Would you put one on a weapon that may save your life or is it a product for high volume target shooters only? Thanks
All this just bores and exhausts me. As all of our troopers before us and all men who are involved today, rely more on the training and the man next to them than the weapon.
It is the Indian and not the arrow.
Please, let us have an intellicual discuss and not insult each other.
I'll take a...
I had a USP .40 compact and could not hit anything with it either. I have a USP .45 fullsize that is an absolute tack driver.
I have never done well with the .40. I only have 9mm or 45now. I can shoot extremely tight groups no matter the platform or caliber. I guess the .40 is just not my...
I am not anti plastic, but when the "1911 of the Next Century is an OD green HK with a rail" things have evolved and changed dramatically with introduction of the Glock 17 in the 80's. I miss the K-22 masterpiece, a deep blued Colt Commander series 70, a Colt Python or Tropper. Also nickel...

I am old fashion or is plastic just starting to take over?
All of this mine bigger than yours kills me on these boards.
I look at man as a fairly week animal for the most part compared to other mammals.
While pheasant hunting I have seen a white tail with its front leg dangling with a second shot to abdomen with a 12ga. slug. Does that imply that...
I did the same thing my birthday is the 26th and I treated myself with 2 HK p7 PSPs with consecutive serial numbers. They are real gems. Happy Birthday to me.
Just dumped a ton of cash into an SA loaded champion. It was so tight it would barely cycle. This peice was going to require extensive break in. I dumped for a Kimber TLE II my secound choice was the S&W. Let face it SA makes a great mil spec for you to shoot and tweak. If you want a production...
