As title says.
Montana Gold 125grn Sig JHP bullets. $123/1000
What are your results? Good choice or not? If not, what is your choice for bullets in the 125 to 135 grain arena?
Also, is 147gr too heavy for 357 Sig?
Thanks
I bought a bunch of once fired (1000) Winchester range brass for re-loading for practice rounds. I may use some of the brass for carry rounds. During the cleaning and de-bulging process (using a Redding G-Rx push through die), I noticed that when I measured for case length many of the cases...
I was loading some 9mm RN bullets on my LnL AP and was having difficulty obtaining a stable COAL. So in an effort to get a stable COAL, I decided to seat my bullets with the seating die stem for flat nose bullets figuring that I would at least obtain some semblance of consistency in COAL...
As title says. I am using my Hornady LnL for 9mm loading 5.8gr of Ramshot Silhouette under a Ranier Ballistics 124gr copper plated round nose (their are marketed as Ranier LeadSafe Bullets 9mm (.355 diameter) 124 grain Plated Round Nose case of 1000 UPC 0238132210 - bought through MidwayUSA)...
As the title says, I need a mat to stand on. I have severe (narcotic type) back pain and feet problems (from all those years in the military) and I need something that will alleviate some of the pain while I am standing at my reloading bench. I have a chair (bar stool) but I can not always sit...
I had a problem with the initial set up of my Lock n Load AP press. The pistol drum and metering device would not come apart, even after I cleaned it as much as I could with the recommended Hornady Gun Cleaner and Dry lube (works very well BTW). I even tried placing the drum on its side...
Is there any inherent danger to priming a case after cleaning it and prior to sizing it. I have the RCBS benchtop priming system and I really like the feel of it and the adjustments that I get on the depths of seating. It is a lot easier to prime using the RCBS than the Hor LnL AP priming...
Over at one of the untimate reloader, they have a write up for the bullet feeder. I do not see anywhere in the contents of the box or any instructions on how to mount the bullet feeder to the Lock n Load AP.
Is there a bracket that comes with the box or how does it mount to the AP?
Thanks
Looking for about 300 of the above bullets for sub-sonic loads.
Have been to Midway, Midsouth, Sinclair, Natchez, Gun Source, and other places. Can't find them. :banghead: Any in stock source on these that you know of?
TIA
