Thats good to know that he held up good when the trigger issue showed up. I know alot of younger people ( well , throw me in the boat too) that would of lost their cool and +1 to you for fixing it.
I seen one today at a shop that seemed to be in pretty decent shape withno bayonet and it was the chinese model with a removable mag for $349.99. I came accross one about a month ago for $250 at a gun show with a dealer i had a long long conversation with and he bumped it dow from 325 to 250...
I dont know if anyone here lives in eastren Oklahoma but there is a pawn shop i know of that sells 50 count boxes of winchester for $18.99. I bought the other day for a friend so ifyou want the name and the phone number of the place just PM me. :)
Heh, I believe things are getting better too. I seen a 50 ct box of .380 for $18 , and almost had a heart attack..... guess i have seen to many 25 ct boxes for $24.95.
But is it true that it can be registered as just a "lower" by the dealer on the form? I havent seen a form in a while but if thats the case then i know i will be in the clear.
That price is kinda high. Ive seen them in stock locally new from 225 to 275(had extended mag and sling). But if they have it in stock and its in good shape, get it if you want it. But it might not hurt to shop around a bit first.
Okay , heres the deal.
Ive done alot of research and ive seen so many conflicting reports that im not sure whats true. So id figure that i would ask the friendly people at THR.
I have an new AR-15 lower that I got from a friend , i think he bought it about 2 months ago. I was wanting to...
I got one last week , no jams yet. :)
I have shot a home built one from model1 sales and have had not jams. I have also shot a River Rock Arms build and have had no jams.
You might want to look around on that price a little more. I wouldnt pay more than 700 for a new one. I bought one NIB in December for 607 , with the scope rings included.
More recently ive seen then between 675-800 , but keep an eye out and you may be about to find one for 700.
Chris in Va , thats nothing compared to the $179 + tax i seen them for in Springdale AR at a gun show last month.
and yes that was for 440 cans , not 880.
Pistol ammo was insane...... I seen some .380 auto in a 100 rd box for $96 at one table (he was high on everything). But overall it was pretty good , there was a ton of reloading supplies but i dont reload so i couldnt tell you about the prices. All i ended up getting was a few bricks of .22...
