I have the ACII Deluxe in hard chrome. Other than grips, I have changed nothing. I may be replacing the extended slide release, as I'm not a big fan of the extended releases.
Other than that, just enjoy shooting it.

What would cause a 1911 to fail to return to battery even when empty and no mag inserted?

I bought this Doublestar from Budsgunshop this week and finally shot it today. For less than $1200 I am very impressed. I shot it against my new Les Baer, which you would think would be unfair, but the DSC held it's own.
Accuracy was not to the level of my Premier II, but to be fair, the DSC...
