Sorry it took me so long to give a reply. It's not ejecting rounds at me as often, after a couple more trips to the range. I think it just needed a little time to break in.

I'll be the odd man out and stick with Springfield 8 round mags. So far no issues in two Springfield 1911's. Cheap, reliable, and I prefer to keep everything the same as the manufacturer of the gun. That being said, I have shot 1911's with Wilson mags and it was sweet.

There is something to be said for making it your own. It's like a classic muscle car. Unfortunately both require large sums of money. For now, I prefer to have two pretty nice guns as aposed to one bad a$$ gun that I can't really shoot any better than the cheaper versions.
