sig p250 .45 compact range review

Sorry it took me so long to give a reply. It's not ejecting rounds at me as often, after a couple more trips to the range. I think it just needed a little time to break in.

What does LTC stand for on Para LTC .45

Not sure exactly what LTC translates to, but I know the LTC line is there tactical commander sized pistols with a 4 1/4 in barrel.

Have just 1 or a few guns for ccw

I recently purchased a sig p250 compact.45 to carry iwb for warm seasons. I also have two 1911's I carry in a belt holster during colder seasons. The only reason I don't like carrying the 1911's iwb during warm seasons is because I sweat a lot, and I'm worried the 1911's will start to rust...

sig p250 .45 compact range review

Compact. I don't think the full size, or sub-compact models are available in .45 yet. As soon as sub-compact is available I'd like to check it out though. I'm curious to see how it feels with a compact size slide on a sub-compact size grip.

sig p250 .45 compact range review

As promised last week here's my range review of my new sig p250 .45 compact. I won't get into specs on the gun as I've already done that on another thread. Ammo: Ammo selection was limited at the range. I was only able to shoot 50rds of 230gr Blazer ball ammo(last box of .45 the range...

    sig p250 compact .45 info

I've read a few threads on other sites about the p250 line, and it seems to me a lot of people aren't really sure how there packaged, modified ,interchangeable, and so on. I just purchased a p250 compact .45 and thought I might offer some insight. First off the grip and slide are slightly...

    Advice for 1st Handgun

I would suggest any type of double action only semi-auto. I would stay away from anything with a safety/decocker, because you and your wife being new to shooting possibly wouldn't remember to disengage the safety/decocker in a high stress situation. In other words something you can pick up...

Are Crimson Trace Grips Worth It?

When I bought my Springfield Champion it came with CT grips, and to be honest I'm still out to lunch on if I like them or not. Part of me really likes the red dot, if anything for the crap your pants factor if your the bad guy. On the other hand I'm just as fast, if not faster using the night...

IWB holster for springfield loaded champion

Wow, I feel stupid. Sorry yall I didn't realize there was a holster thread in general handgun topics. That's what I get for not looking around 1st.:banghead:

Well...I need help choosing between these three!!!

I'd say xd, but as I've stated in other threads, I own three Springfields. Part of the reason I like the xd so much is it's the same grip angle as a 1911, and with the grip safety it feels more like a 1911, which makes it less of a jump in ergonomics when I shoot one of my 1911's. I also like...

    9mm 1911 Help

The only company I could throw in the hat is Kimber, and that's not going to be under $700. From what I've seen RIA makes a quality product. Based on your price range I'd probably stick with them or a Para, but unless you get a REALLY good deal, the Para is probably going to be more than $700.

Help me decide on a new CCW

I'm not knocking polymer guns by any means. I'm just one of those, once I shot a 1911 nothing else felt the same, kind of guys. I've owned many "plastic":D guns from glock to s&w to Springfield, and currently still own an xd, and love it. I will agree 100%, the finish is better, they have...

IWB holster for springfield loaded champion

I'm having trouble deciding on a good iwb holster for my springfield. Sizing wise anything made for a commander should work for the champion, seeing as the only difference is the champion has a slightly shorter barrel. The two main concerns for me are obviously comfort, and wear on the gun. I...

    1911 Magazines????

I'll be the odd man out and stick with Springfield 8 round mags. So far no issues in two Springfield 1911's. Cheap, reliable, and I prefer to keep everything the same as the manufacturer of the gun. That being said, I have shot 1911's with Wilson mags and it was sweet.

    1911 Reliability/Accuracy Tuning

There is something to be said for making it your own. It's like a classic muscle car. Unfortunately both require large sums of money. For now, I prefer to have two pretty nice guns as aposed to one bad a$$ gun that I can't really shoot any better than the cheaper versions.

    Winchester Ranger 40 S&W 155 gr JHP?

rockhound758 I actually shot those rounds up near you at the powder room. Not to stray too far off topic, but do you know if they're done with the renovation? I heard they were giving the place a face lift a while back.

    Are Kahrs fragile ??

olecodger, so is the discomfort worth it? I've been looking at one of these for a while for pocket carry. I know it's not something you'll go to the range and fire 100 or so rounds at a time with, but if it's not fun to shoot I know I won't carry it.

Help me decide on a new CCW

Springfield EMP, or Kimber Aegis. Both are 9mm and weigh around 25 oz.

Springfield EMP, Kimber Aegis, or any 9mm Para with the LDA trigger.

    Inexpensive 1911: Firestorm or RIA??

I've never shot the taurus 1911's. I have a Mil-Spec and a Loaded Champion and love them both. The GI is about $150 cheeper with a few less options, but still a great gun for the money. Para's have mixed reviews. Their finishes suck, and reliability is debatable. No first hand experience...
