These guns are ammo sensitive in the since that you can move your ROF according to how hot the ammo is. Also using multiple buffers or a MACJACK will bump up your ROF. It is normally a good idea to add a new buffer when you get a new to you mac.
If your recoil spring is worn out from the gun...
BCrider is correct about the rifle being limited in distance. I knew that going in and most of the time it will be using sub sonic ammo. A red dot is the likely choice or a 1-4 may fit the bill as well.
Thanks Jim I will check it out, that might be the thing I needed.

I'm a 07/02 FFL I did the machining and refinish work myself.
I was just hoping someone might be able to tell me "I used a base to a Savage, Marlin, Mossberg Modle XYZ and it fit nicely". I didn't have anything in the shop that fit the shape of the Destroyer perfectly. I was just hoping...
The gun was rusty with a trashed stock. The gun has been restored, rust removed metal refinished, stock has had the dents raised and then sanded stained and clear coated. Chamber was set ahead to 9mm luger and head spaced the barrel threaded for a silencer and a matching OD cap turned to make...
I am going to scope the 9mm Luger Spanish Destroyer I built and was wondering if anyone can point me at a rail that they know will fit the shape of the receiver? I will drill and tap as needed.

There are very few old Alum. Sparrows left for sale as new, I have one distribute who has maybe 5 left on hand if someone ask for them. Unless you find a dealer with old Inv. most are the newer SS versions.
That's an ejection or extraction problem, it has nothing to do with the speed of the gun cycling.
Either the extractor spring is to weak to hold the extractor in the groove of the casing during extraction and slipping off and leaving the case behind or your ejector is gummed up and or the...
Ive got a Maxim 1910 and a Browning 1919 converted to 54r. So far Ive learned that aside from soap and water windex is the next best thing. Some say WD-40 works but in my experience it doesn't cut it good enough.
