Help me find the right revolver.

I would suggest the Ruger LCR in .357 for use with .38spl, it's about 4oz more than the LCR .38, BUT is a whole lot more pleasant to shoot. Great trigger and it won't beat you to death.

    I Finally Bought a P32

You may know this, but it a good practice to depress the mag release when inserting a mag. It's plastic and this saves it from wearing out. These are reliable and fun little pistols. This first generation has a different extractor than the second gen, and the profile of the slide is better...

    today's best carry revolver

Having tried the LCR38 and found it unpleasant to practice with I moved on to the LCR357. It weighs a little more, is the same size, same gooood trigger , and is pleasant to practice with .38spl. Try one, it may be the answer.

    Recommend a .380acp

Don't go down the path I did, and try them all. Instead buy a Kahr and don't look back.

    .357 shooting .38

I bought the LCR .38 because of it's weight, and it was so uncomfortable shooting it that I sold it. I really liked the size and trigger but it was brutal on my arthritic hands. So I later on took a gamble on the .357, and what a difference the additional weight meant at the range, in fact I...

Well done Virginia! Hats off to Governor McAuliffe!

It's my understanding the General Assembly had the votes to over ride the esteemed Gov. So he put the spin on the wonderful bipartisan effort, yada yada yada. It's truly sad to have a Clinton fund raiser as the Gov.

Why the hate for the XD?

I had a Glock, it was a fine pistol never had any problems, but I traded it for a XD9 and never looked back. The XD fit better, and stranger than fiction, it put the 9mm bullets downrange just like the Glock. With the addition of a PRP trigger it will stand up against any gun. I've bought and...

    Kahr P380

I've had a Kahr P380 since they first came out and it is a pleasant gun to shoot. To me that is important because I like to practice with a gun I'm going to carry. I've bought some of the others mentioned ,and while they may be a tad sleeker and a fraction lighter, they are just not enjoyable to...

    P32 KT, I am confussed

That's the second generation of the p32, withe the external extractor. I think it'a supposed be stronger than the first gen extractor.

What is the future of revolvers?

Well as has been mentioned, I sure would like a smaller LCR in a 32 magnum flavor, primarily for H&R. It would give my arthritis a rest.

    Trading a Glock 17 for a CZ 75?

My Glock went away for a xd-9, in my opinion a better gun. However it is not the same as my CZ75B. They are both excellent guns but two different animals. You won't go wrong with a CZ. Go for it.

What Type Of Ammo Do You Carry In your 380 Pistol?

Why the attitude between single stack .45 and 9mm?

I kind of think of my .380 as being used at 21 feet and under, never really considered 60 feet .....

    CZ75B Decision?

I can't give an impartial answer since I have the B model and it meets all of my needs. Have a relative who has the Omega trigger, and wishes that he didn't, I think because of after market limitations. So here's one vote for C75B, you won't be sorry.

2nd thoughts Sig P226 Dark Elite sadly disappointed.

Never been much of a Sig man myself, I'm sure they are good guns, but you might consider letting it go and get that CZ75 which will put a smile on your face.

"What Gun Were You The Most Disappointed With?" Redux

Well I've said it before, but I'll say it one more time: If it says AMT on it, Run -- don't walk to the nearest exit.

    S&W J Frame vs Glock 42?

And then there are the old dudes like me who are finding it harder and more painful to rack some of these small autos due to arthur. Hence the move to small revolvers, in my case a LCR. Is it the same as my CZ75B or my XD9....no, but it's easier for me to conceal and certainly better than nothing.

    which .380

I'm with kokapelli on the WWB fmg/fp. I never had a problem with it, something I can't say about all other brands. Since I'm down to just two 380s a Kahr P380 and a Colt Pony Pocketlite (a truly superior pistol) that's all I ever use, thousands of rounds without problems. Guess I'm just lucky in...
