I really wonder why we can't get federal charges pressed on these people. We have them on video, with written transcripts, breaking federal laws. Did I miss something?
Just one reason to do all your home repairs yourself. You never have to say a word about anything that you find inside the house from previous residents.
The laying down shots seemed to go right over the berm. ~ 0:50 mark. The rest seemed kind of goofy, but... That part seems pretty unsafe. Whatever tactics you are teaching, if you violate basic handling, you are setting yourself up to make a mistake.
Save all your factory parts. If you choose to sell, put it back together like it was when you bought it. That's good advice for most things, I've found. Besides, even if you don't sell it, you have all those parts as spares if something breaks.
@ Ignition Override - Since you put a question mark, no that isn't Gecko45. Just a piece of amusing fiction. No mall ninjas were spared from ridicule, though a few might have been inspired. My spider senses detected no sarcasm in the 9 characters and 1 emoticon. If I missed any, it's late...
The one near my house (just outside Charleston, SC) has it. I find it to be incredibly accurate for bulk ammo. Been a few months since I bought any, but I believe it was $24. For comparison, the Rem Golden Bullet bulk pack was $17.
A man with a cheap tool that has spent the time to use it, learn about it, and become proficient with it will normally outperform someone that bought a very expensive tool. While the cost of the tool doesn't directly equal performance, those that have the money and the time to gain proficiency...
I think I would like it better placed sideways over the scope, to the left (rh shooter). Settle in for the cheekweld with a nice big clear image to look at. I do believe that you would be able to modify that for yourself with a replacement lens cap and any type of holder. $5 or $10?
Ledge,
As far as I understand it, that is exactly what Taurus and Stoeger did. The difference is not in the physical size and shape of the individual components, but the metallurgy of the components.
Edit: And as it happens, I don't really know if I like the feel of the Stoeger 8045. It...
Congrats.
My kids are begging me to take them shooting, I just haven't had the time lately. At 10, 8, and 6 I trust them more than I do some adults that I have gone shooting with.
The pistol I love the most is a Ruger Single Six. (It will be a poor trade for my father the day I get it, but it will give me fond memories for the rest of my life.)
The pistol I rely on is a G21SF.
To me, there isn't really a gun there when it is my hand. There are sights and a...
I'm usually at work when the deliveries come in, and every UPS or Fedex delivery person has been kind enough to carry the rather heavy packages inside the door so my wife doesn't have to pick them up off the porch.
Not concerned. Every single one of my neighbors has seen me loading rifle...
I've shot a good deal of the 9mm, .45 ACP, and .223. No issues out of about 5k rounds. I too pick up at the gun shows. In fact, that's the only reason I go to the gun show most of the time.
I had a bitch of a time getting a Nikon Monarch on a 527. The almost proprietary rails, along with the bolt clearance make it a pain. I just about went nuts trying to get rings to mount the scope I wanted.
The conversion rail is a nice path, and it may keep you from having to worry too much...
