I have two 8' sections of shelf above my long bench. The bottom one holds powder three deep and I can set the extra ones on top of the first layer. The top shelf has a section that holds my pistol powders, I've only got about a dozen cans in it. My big 8 pounders reside in a separate area and I...

That's pretty innovative. For your bench design it looks like it is workable. My problem would be just like picking a line at the bank the powder I would want would always be at the back...lol Greg

158 grain vs 125 grain lead bullets out of a 38 Special.

You could always sell them to someone with a 9 MM. Not unusual to shoot lead in them that is over .355. Greg

Just not finding a .38 spl target load my 686 likes

The longer brass invariably will help in grouping. I've shot many a 148 HBWC in my 586 over 3.0 of Bullseye and it worked well. Maybe that long jump is making a difference in that skirt bump up. Greg

    Has this happened to you?

My wife has helped me sort bras and box loaded rounds over the years. She understands the reloading process but has not done it at all. She and I competed all over the US in USPSA matches and she has all her own top of the line gear. I don't think she has ever shot a factory round in any of...

What bullets would you use for the 350 legend

I'd grab a box of those 9 MM heavy XTP pills and try those out. I loaded some up for my 9X21 and Javelina hunting. Greg

    Saturn Powder Funnels

I have eight of the Satern funnels. The oldest ones are a tiny bit smoother inside but the newest ones have ridges that still don't catch any kernels. I couldn't figure out how to store them until I was cleaning a pistol one day. I was using a along wooden stick cotton swap, kind of like a...

Most of us use USP Priority boxes packed appropriately. I've probably shipped way north of 100,00 rounds and never lost a case yet. Greg

    Instead of Nu finish ?

Brasso has ammonia in it. It may cause the brass to weaken and fail prematurely. Not good. Greg

    6.5 Grendel users

I built an upper with a Black Hole 264LBC barrel. Accuracy is down in the 0.5 area with the 123 Noslers at 2700 or so. Definitely a fun round. Greg

    Case Cleaners and DUST

I don't think mineral oil is the ticket. I think mineral spirits would be a bit more appropriate. I run walnut and NuFinish with a dash of MS. I also run them outside without lids. The dryer sheets really suck up the junk. Greg
