i love mauser rifles, and want to build one. but i think it should be a crime to sporterize an original action. so what is the best mauser action on the market (a faithful mauser action, that actually looks like a mauser) to build off of ?

the 1903 is cool and everything, but why get a mauser copy thats more expensive, just get a mauser. i know that the springfield may be better than the mauser, but thats nothing i cant change in one afternoon.

how is the accuracy at 100yrds with these guns, with good ammo, and crappy surplus ammo.

400ish no, i bought my last (probly not) mauser last year, much better condition, for 200ish. three years ago i got one that was about like that at a gun show for $85, but the prices have been changing so you never know.

how accurate are these rifles, specifically the PSL? If anybody has experience i would love to know alot about this rifle, everything you know please!!!!!!!!!!
