I've had one for about 18 months. Very good handgun, sort of large to carry but shoots great. I've put about 5000 rounds through mine with not one failure. I handload the .40 fairly warm and this gun is heavy enough to be able to shoot all day.

I load 185 gr Ranier Bullets and 5.0 grs of Trail Boss. Good mild load, dose not shake up a good gun. This is my practice load with a Star PD.

Ordered and shot berry's bullets for at least 7 years (thousands of bullets), never had any problem. Good bullets, good people to deal with.

I would go to Buffalobore.com and purchase some of their heavy gas checked loads. They sure do a job on black bears and large hogs, a shoulder hit will shoot completly through either.
