There is not a subcompact 45. You can get the 45 in the XDs though. The XD is an awesome gun. It's one of my all time favorite firearms. I enjoy a 1911, but the XD9 subcompact is my primary carry gun, and I trust it 100%. You made a good purchase. I don't think you'll regret it. :)

I LOVE the Comp-tac MTAC Minotaur. I have 2 of them for different guns. I also have a Comp-tac kydex reinforced belt. I love this setup. It allows me to carry a Compact XD .45 (4 inch barrel) & a Kimber Ultra Carry II .45 (3 inch barrel) comfortably. :)

^^ +1 on a good belt. I found it to be as important as finding a good holster.

I'm a huge fan of Comp-Tac's MTAC Minotaur holster. I have one for my 1911 & one for my XD. Crossbreed's SuperTuck is great holster as well.

I got one for Christmas and sold it this last week. I only had a couple of fte issues with factory ammo (including 115 gr), but it hated reloads. My Husband reloads all of our plinking ammo and we never found a load that it liked with the 115. Granted, it wasn't the 124 like Kimber...

Ben86, this question wasn't directed at me, but were you asking for a woman's perspective on the LCP? If so, I can give you one. :) It shot more accurately than I expected for a small gun. It's not fun to go plink with, but it shoots comfortable enough to practice with.
